View past editions of Eye on Q 25 February 2021 Welcome back Greater Melbourne Queensland will once again have its borders open to the entire country – with today’s announcement that the Greater Melbourne hotspot declaration will be revoked from 1:00am AEST this Saturday, 27 February 2021. From Saturday, there will be no restrictions for travellers from any part of Australia – with no border declarations required. This week TEQ revised our ‘advice for travellers’ webpage to make it even simpler for travellers to understand if they can come to Queensland and what the requirements are. You can share this page (which is reviewed daily) with your upcoming guests or on your website and social channels to help guests plan their trip. Designed specifically for the travel industry, the series will discuss industry trends, insights and examples of how travel businesses can grow using digital marketing. This includes how to create and manage a Business Profile on Google, how to grow brand awareness using Google Ads and how to turn data into actionable insights with Google Analytics.
