Introduction to the Guildhall
Create your fantastic memories at the Guildhall, St Ives Situated in the
heart of town. The Guildhall offers you a unique wedding venue that
combines heritage, history and great versatility. A couple of minutes
stroll from an array of golden beaches, fabulous restaurants and
amazing accommodation, the Guildhall really is the perfect choice for
your special day.
Dating back to 1938, this splendid building offers three first floor
rooms; The Mayor’s Parlour, Balcony Room and the Council Chamber.
On the ground floor there is an amazing sprung floor Concert Hall
(the only one in Cornwall) – perfect for dancing the night away. The
Guildhall is simply so adaptable – catering from 2 to over 400 guests.
Select a package option or simply choose room hire – the choice is
yours – Your Wedding, Your Way!
For your special day, our friendly and professional team will make
every moment the perfect experience for you, your partner and family
and friends.
We can also host wedding blessings, naming ceremonies and renewal
of vows services at the iconic chapel.

The Mayors Parlour
The Mayor’s Parlour, vintage and really special,
can hold a maximum of 12 guests.
We offer this beautifully prestigious room as
ceremony hire (which includes chair coverings,
floral display and a glass of champagne) or
ceremony hire plus catering.
This room holds a maximum of 12 people and
is a perfect choice for those looking for an
intimate ceremony room for their special day.

The Balcony Room
An elegant space with walls adorned with
attractive local paintings, this room can
host up to 20 guests.

The Council Chamber
Full of character, warmth and importance,
the striking Council Chamber can hold up
to 60 guests. A highly adaptable space, the
Chamber can be easily transformed into
something quite magical!
This grand room can be hired as a ceremony
room (which includes chair coverings,
floral display and a glass of champagne) or
ceremony hire plus catering.

The Concert Hall
Couples may choose to hire the Concert
Hall for ceremony only (day hire) or for
their ceremony and wedding breakfast or
reception only. As with our other rooms–
couples can opt for straightforward hall/
ceremony room hire only or for a Package
Option.
The Platinum Package is the perfect option
for those wishing for the full works. This
package offers a complete and beautiful
wedding and reception in the Concert Hall.
Guildhall staff can create the illusion of an
indoor marquee with magnificent drapes
and professional lighting – transporting you
to another world! Working with great local
suppliers, professional kitchen caterers can
provide delicious offerings for up to 200
guests and we will ensure that a professional
bar provider will be on hand to serve
celebratory drinks for the duration of your
event.

lighthouse, the Island Chapel will make you the envy of
