TAFE SA Hair and Beauty program can offer you Vocational Education and Training (VET) for Schools as part of our nationally recognised training package and is available to students from years 10 to 12 as part of their normal school curriculum. THE MOBILE TRAINING SALON The Mobile Training Salon allows TAFE SA to deliver flexible and demand-driven training that meets the needs of students, schools and employers. BEAUTY DIRECT ENTRY Certificate III in Beauty Services (SHB30115) Accredited course aimed at Year 11 students This course covers the essential knowledge and understanding to work as a beautician. These units allow you to perform services in waxing, tanning, manicures, pedicures, eye lash and brow treatments and makeup. Together with practical techniques, you will experience the duties and responsibilities of working in a salon, client consultations, advising and recommending beauty products and services. Fee: $4,815 + $215 (student kit) Duration: 18 months, 1 day per week Intake: Beginning of semester 1 and 2 Certificate III in Make-Up (SHB30215) Accredited course aimed at Year 11 students Take make-up to an exciting new level. This course will give you the skills and knowledge to express your creativity and explore the design elements of make-up. We will help you master skills such as day evening, bridal, glamour, catwalk, air brushing and creative makeup techniques.
