GOLF COURSES
                                           WOODLANDS
Golfers will remember Woodlands because it tests all aspects of their shot making ability. The greens are
small, hard and very fast, the narrow fairways are all pure couch and offer a great surface from which to
play and there are many bunkers to overcome, particularly the long bunker shots to pins which always
seem to close to the bunker edge. It provides that overwhelming feeling that you have to work the ball
around the course, and never, ever slog it. It is in fact, the most underrated golf course in Melbourne and
only now are golfers becoming aware of the challenges it offers.

Woodlands is a course of two parts. The first four holes require the exact placement of tee shots and a
delicate pitch shot to ensure a par. It has been said that one must be at least a couple under after four
holes if one is to score well around Woodlands, since most of the following holes provide formidable
challenges to a golfer seeking a par round.

                                 condition and stunning visual appeal.

EYNESBURY
All of the holes at Eynesbury have been strategically designed to allow for the greatest variance of
prevailing weather conditions and to accommodate the widest range of golfing abilities. The fairways are
generous and inviting targets however positional play from the tees will always be handsomely rewarded
by providing the best angle of attack to the greens.

In most instances the approaches to the greens are receptive to a ball being played low to the ground and
for the creative shot maker this will prove to be a bonus when the wind is whipping across the open farm
                                                  lands.

The open creeks traversing a number of the holes and the water bodies on the 10th, 14th, and 18th bring
the risk reward factor aspect of the game to the forefront but always allow for alternative options if the
player should feel inclined to take a safer way to the target.
MANDALAY
Five time British Open Champion and renowned golf course architect Peter Thomson, principal of the
golf course architecture firm Thomson Perrett has proudly designed the Mandalay Golf Course. Peter and
his team have successfully converted flat grazing farmland into a stunning contoured golf course that
will challenge players of all skill levels.

Thomson Perrett has designed many of Australia's highly respected golf courses including The National,
Moonah Links, Sandhurst, Hope Island, Twin Waters and The Links Port Douglas just to mention a few.
The golf course proudly follows in the tradition of these iconic golf courses and further enhances the
                                  Thomson Perrett golf course legacy.
