FOR ADMISSION TO FOUR YEARS

1. COURSES:
B.A B Ed: 50 seats (Arts)
B.Sc. B Ed: 50 seats (Physical Science + Biological Science)
Note: Interchanges between/ within the streams will be applicable if seats remain vacant in any
stream considering first the rationality of ratio.
2. HONOURS SUBJECTS:
The following Honours Subjects are offered.

However selected candidates shall have to opt. at-least two school subjects of 200 marks
excluding language (English/ Hindi/ Odia/ Sanskrit)
3. ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION CRITERIA/ SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Students who have passed +2/ 12th Class of Science/ Arts class are eligible to apply.
Selection of the candidate will be made on the basis of percentage of mark from HSC/ 10th
& +2/ 12th without 4th optional.
Reservation of seats for admission to different category of students will be considered as
laid down in the Common Prospectus published by the Government of Odisha, Department
of Higher Education.
The seats earmarked for special reserved candidates/ In Service candidates shall be
converted and added to total number of sheets for direct admission under unreserved
category if the specific categories of candidates are not available.
Candidates who have passed Upashastri are not eligible to apply for the Integrated B.Ed.
Course
4. HOW TO OBTAIN INFORMATION BROCHURE AND APPLICATION FORM:
The Information Brochure and Application Form may be downloaded from the college
website http://scscollege.nic.in/. A Candidate willing to apply for both the courses i.e. B.A.
B.Ed. & B.Sc. B.Ed., has to apply separately with requisite amount of application fee (a +2
Science candidate can also apply for BA B.Ed. course). Further Science Candidates can avail both
the options that is PCM & CBZ by putting Tick mark () in the appropriate box in the application
form.
Page 15. HOW TO APPLY:
Application Form duly filled with required documents and Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- should
reach the Principal S.C.S. (Autonomous) College, Puri-752001 latest by 18.06.2018 at 4.30 P.M./
within 15 days of publication of Annual H.S. Examination (Arts) 2018 by hand or by Registered/
Speed Post/ through Courier. The Original Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- (for each Application Form) is
drawn in favor of the Principal, S.C.S. (Autonomous) College, Puri, at any Nationalized Bank,
Payable at Puri. Postal delay is not accepted.
The cover envelop of the application form must be written as “APPLICATION FOR
THE ADMISSION INTO 4 YEARS INTEGRATED B.Ed. PROGRAMME IN SCIENCE/
ARTS” Put a () Mark in Science or Arts
6. PUBLICATION OF MERIT LIST:
a. No Intimation letter will be sent to the candidates.
b. Merit list will be displayed in the college notice board and college website:
http://scscollege.nic.in/
The applicants are advised to visit the college website for selection list/waiting list during
the Admission schedule time.
7. FEES:
Institution Fees at the time of Admission:
a. Usual Admission Fees of the College
b. Additional fees towards Integrated B.Ed. Admission of Rs. 3,800/-
c. Course fees Rs. 30,000/- (Per Annum) (Approved/ Govt. Rate).
Note:
a) The college admission fee and additional fees towards Integrated B.Ed. Admission of
Rs. 3,800/- are non-refundable.
b) The course fee is non-refundable. However, if a candidate wishes to leave the
institution/ B.Ed. Course before the last date of admission (but not on the Last Date
of admission) course fee will be refunded after deduction of Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two
thousand only) towards processing charges.
c) If a candidate wishes to leave the institution/ B.Ed. Course after the last date of
admission, he/she has to pay entire course fee for 04 (four) years.
8. DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED WITH THE APPLICATION FORM:
All candidates are required to submit the self attested photo copies of the following documents:
Application Fees as per Information Brochure (Rs. 500/-)
HSC/10th certificates and mark sheets
+2 /12th certificates and mark sheets
Certificate of Headmaster of the school to the effect that he / she has passed HSC in
Odia medium (in the cases who have passed from Board of Secondary Education,
Odisha without Odia as MIL).
Valid Residential Certificate issued by Tahasildar/ Additional Tahasildar.
Caste Certificate in case of SC, ST and SEBC candidates, by virtue of birth issued by
the Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahasildar/ Additional Tahasildar.
PH/OH Certificate in case of PH/OH candidates issued by CDMO/SDMO/CMO of
Capital Hospital (in case of Bhubaneswar).
Ex-serviceman (Army/ Navy/ Air Force) Certificate in case of son/ daughter/ spouse of
Ex-serviceman from Zilla Sainik Board.
Service Defence Personnel – SDP (Army/ Navy/ Air Force) certificate from the
Commanding Officer of the Unit.
Children of Martyrs (CoM) certificate from the District Collector.
Two self addressed envelope.
Two recent self attested passport size photograph.

Interpretation of any of the rules of admission by the Principal, S.C.S. (Autonomous)
College, Puri, Odisha shall be final and binding.
