#TradesTakeAction Ask Your Candidate Skilled Trades Workforce Mobility Tax Deduction The Income Tax Act is currently an inequitable tax policy. Currently, salespeople, professionals and Canadians in other industries can receive a tax deduction for the cost of their travel, meals, and accommodations. The same option is denied to skilled trades workers who work on jobsites that are in different regions or provinces from their primary residence. How would you support the Ask implementation of the Skilled Trades Workforce Mobility Tax Deduction (Bill C-275)?
#TradesTakeAction Ask Your Candidate Post-Covid 19 Recovery The COVID-19 pandemic hit Newfoundland and Labrador disproportionately hard in 2020. Instability in the oil and gas markets caused many existing and proposed projects to be cancelled or delayed, dampening current and future construction employment in the province. Considering many other provinces are currently experiencing an increased Ask demand for skilled trades workers - in your opinion, how will your government stimulate the NL economy to create job growth similar to other provinces?
