REGISTER AND RESERVE YOUR PLACE IN FIVE STEPS From December 2020 1 CHECK YOUR SELF SERVICE CENTRE Submit your online application. If the academic board decides that you must take the admission test, you will receive a notification in your Self Service Centre. 2 REGISTER TO THE TEST FROM THE PORTALE ISCRIZIONE AI CORSI Log in to the Portale iscrizione ai corsi, activate your new account and complete your registration to the test. 3 TAKE THE ADMISSION TEST Take the admission test. From February 2021 DOWNLOAD THE RESULTS 4 Downlaod the feedback from your Self Service Center and the test results from the Portale Iscrizione ai corsi RESERVE YOUR PLACE 5 If you are eligible for enrolment, reserve your place by paying the first installment of the UC university fees

CHECK YOUR SELF SERVICE CENTRE • Submit your online application, following the procedure available at international.unicatt.it. • If the academic board decides that you must take the admission test, you will receive a notification in your Self Service Centre. • Within a few days, the International Admissions Office will create an account for you which you will use to sign up for the test via the Portale iscrizione ai corsi. Should you already have an account with the Portale iscrizione ai corsi, please share it with international.admissions@unicatt.it.

HOW TO REGISTER TO THE TEST You will receive a message of «Activation account» from IAM_noreply@unicatt.it with your new username and a link to set a password (remember to check your spam box and all the inboxes of your email account as well). If you already have an account, please ignore this step. Access the Portale iscrizione ai corsi with your new credentials. Click on your application number and upload the required documents: • PHOTO • CODICE FISCALE (if available) • IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT • PERMIT OF STAY (required only to non-EU citizens residing in Italy) • ENGLISH LANGUAGE CERTIFICATE (see Entry Requirements): the certificate must be already achieved to be able to register to the admission test Select the first available date to take the test. Pay the registration fee of € 60.00 (non-refundable) within the deadline. Should you retake the test, you will have to pay the fee a second time. Your registration to the test is complete only if your application status changes into “Pending admissions test”.
3. THE ADMISSION TEST 3 Timing The test is delivered online. For each session you will be able to choose the date and time you prefer. There is a limited number of available slots for each session. REGISTRATION TIMELINE – TEST SESSION DATES OF PUBLICATION OF PORTALE ISCRIZIONE AI CORSI THE RESULTS 11 -15 February, 2021 14 December 2020 - 25 January 2021 4 – 5 – 6 February 2021 27 - 30 April, 2021 01 March 2021 – 06 April 2021 16 – 17 – 19 – 20 April The admission test, on the dates following the first session, is organised only with places still available. Successful completion of the admission test is equivalent to successful completion of the Initial Preparation Verification (VPI).
3. ADMISSION TEST 3 Notes for candidates with disabilities or LDs If you are a candidate with a disability or with Learning Disabilities (LDs), you must submit, in a single PDF file, the Ld report or LD certificate to Servizi per l’integrazione degli studenti con disabilità e con DSA within the dates indicated below. If you meet the tax exemption requirements (104 law and/or at least 66% disability percentage) you must contact the Servizi before paying the first university fee instalment. Test 16 – 17 – 19 – 20 April 4 – 5 – 6 February 2021 2021 Delivery Lds report/LD 18 Januay 2021 30 March 2021 certificate Delivery of the documents is not equivalent to the registration for the test, which must in any case be carried out through the Registration Portal ; documentation delivered after the dates indicated will not be taken into consideration. The candidates are kindly asked to choose one of the first available slots during the day, in order to be able to adequately provide them with the compensatory facilities assigned. In the event of a negative result of the test and subsequent repetition of the same, it is necessary to contact the Service in order to be able to dispose of any necessary compensatory instruments again.
3. THE ADMISSION TEST 3 General information If you have not paid the contribution within the set time, you will not be able to take the test. A few days before the test you will receive an e-mail with the credentials to access the examination platform. You will be asked to carry out a COMPULSORY demo in order to avoid any possible mistake which could interfere with the actual examination process. The test will be delivered in English. You have one hour to answer 48 multiple choice questions. Only one answer is correct. The questions are divided equally into 4 subject areas: - Logic, - Maths, - Reading comprehension, - English. The scores associated with each answer are evaluated as follows: • Exact answer: 1,25 • Wrong answer: -0,25 • No answer: 0
3. THE ADMISSION TEST 3 Calculation of marks and admission To pass the test, you must correctly answer at least 4 questions for each subject area and score at least 31 points. Candidates achieving a score lower than 8/12 , but at least equal to or higher than 4/12 in the mathematics subject area, will be required to sit an Additional Training Obligation (OFA - Obbligo Formativo Aggiuntivo) comprising a 12-hour pre-math course. It is necessary to take it and successfully pass the final compulsory test within the 1st year of the course. In case of a negative result the student will be contacted by the Orientation and Tutoring Office, through the tutoring group for methodological support. Candidates who pass the test will be ranked according to their test results, high school grades and available places.
4. DOWNLOAD THE RESULTS 4 Calculation of marks and admission Starting from the dates indicated on page 5, you can download the feedback from your Self Service Centre and access the Portale iscrizione ai corsi to check your test results. If you are eligible for enrolment, download the admission letter from your Self Service Centre and read it carefully: it will outline the conditions to enrol and the deadline to reserve your palce by paying the first instalment of the tuition fees. • Eligibility in the degree course in Economics and Management can be used to reserve a place for an Italian-taught course of the School of Economics. • If the result is negative, you can repeat the test on the next available session.
5 5. RESERVE YOUR PLACE UC Pay the first installment of the tuition fees by the deadline indicated on the admission letter. Login to the Portale iscrizione ai corsi and open your application. If your application status is «eligible for enrolment», you can download the MAV and proceed with the payment of the first instalment of the tuition fess . To confirm the reservation of the seat, you must go back to the Portale iscrizione ai corsi, select the application and declare the payment. The earlier you pay, the sooner you will ensure a spot in this highly competitive program. If the payment of the first instalment is not declared by the deadline, your offer for admission will be withdrawn and your place assigned to another candidate in the ranking.
