Welcome Message Sea turtles migrate from around the world, and arrived at the Port Onahama, Iwaki City, Fukushima. Fukushima means Happy Island. Welcome to the Happy Island! Our colleagues have the common understanding as reviving the ideal circulation among Oceans, Mountains and Rivers. Since the opening in 2000, as the Environmental Aquarium, Aquamarine Fukushima is sending messages, "Think about our Future on Earth." Also, Aquamarine Fukushima has been challenging to make the fence between zoos and aquariums lower and transforming to the ideal nature of more than 3000 years ago, that is the Jomon Zoo. We do hope you can enjoy as Jomon people while you are staying Onahama, Happy Island, Fukushima. General Information IAC 2018 Fukushima will be hosting the commercial/technical Exhibition, and it will be held at the Event Hall “SHIOME”. It will allow organizations to showcase their products and expertise related to the aquarium facilities while connecting with the Congress delegates. Location : Event Hall “SHIOME” Just 2 minutes away from the Congress venue. Expected visitors : International delegates made up of aquarium staff, conservationists, scientists, researchers, educators, students, service providers and more. Industry leaders and decision-makers within companies requiring services and equipment for aquariums. 3
Exhibition Shell Scheme JPY 200,000 ※Inclusive of tax This will include : Exhibition space (size: W 2.5 m × D 2.5 m× H 2.5 m per booth) Shell Scheme frame Lighting Two electrical outlets + electricity (up to 1.5 kw single-phase 100 V) 1 table, 2 chairs Company name plate One congress badge * Basically, booths will be connected in a row. * Please refrain from using nails, thumbtacks, or double-sided tape on any of the system panels. If your exhibit is lightweight, use Velcro tape, and if it is heavy, use a hanging metal fitting. * For the basic work for an exhibit using multiple booths, we will separately make adjustments with respective exhibitor applicants. Exhibition Exhibitors Technical Manual An Exhibitor’s Technical Manual outlining all technical aspects of exhibiting will be circulated 2 months prior to the Congress. It will include the following: Technical details about the Venue Final exhibition details and information Contractor details Services available to exhibitors and order forms Exhibitor Registration All exhibitors are required to register individual names and will be given Exhibitor badges with displaying the exhibiting company name. This badge is only valid to enter the Exhibition Hall and will not be allowed to enter the Congress venue. Congress badge (Limited to 1 badge) All exhibitors are required to register the name of representative. Only the representative will be given the congress badge which is required to enter the congress venue. 5
Payment Open for entries at December 11, 2017 (JST) Please fill the application form and send it back by e-mail to the following e-mail address. Exhibition Secretariat of IAC 2018 Fukushima (c/o Japan Convention Services, Inc) 18F Daido Seimei Kasumigaseki Bldg. 1-4-2 E-mail: iac2018-ex@convention.co.jp Payment Methods An invoice will be sent out respectively from the Exhibition Secretariat of IAC 2018 Fukushima, after the application form is completed. All payment must be made in Japanese Yen (JPY) and please be sure to transfer the payment to the designated bank account without delay before the respective deadlines. The transaction fee is requested to be payed by the applicants. Cancellation/Reduction Policy Cancellation or changes to your original booking must be submitted in writing to the Exhibition Secretariat of IAC 2018 Fukushima. For cancellation made: After issuing the invoice: 30% of the total cost of each item will be retained From May 1, 2018 to June 30, 2018: 50 % of the total cost of each item will be retained From July 1, 2018: 100 % of the total cost of each item will be retained Application Deadline June 30, 2018. ※Exhibition fee is inclusive of tax. 6 .
