keep land in agriculture. Whether you buy directly from the farm or business, or shop at
the local farmers’ markets, it’s a win‐win for small farms, small businesses, and for
customers. The farms get to connect and sell directly to customers, and those customers
get high quality fresh produce and to know their farmers.
Farmers markets are something you can share with your kids. They love tas ng samples,
mee ng the farmers, and they’re more likely to eat healthy fruits and vegetables when
