DODDIE WEIR
Everyone in the Rugby world was saddened to
hear of the passing of Doddie on Saturday
November 26th. He was a giant of a man- in
every way -and his bravery and courage in his
fundraising work for MND was simply
phenomenal. The tributes were moving and
well deserved. Everyone will have a favourite
memory of Doddie, but mine would be his
appearance as a speaker at an E.R.O.S. lunch
at Inverleith. He was hilariously funny and it
was hard to believe that he was living with
MND. Rugby has lost a real gem of a man.
