Assessment Centres
Phase 2, Stage 3: reopening Starts: Friday, July 17th at 12:01 a.m. Nearly ALL businesses and public spaces can reopen except: – Amusement parks and water parks – Buffet-style food services – Dancing at restaurants/bars, other than by performers hired by the establishment – Overnight stays at camps for children – Private karaoke rooms – Prolonged or deliberate contact while playing sports – Saunas, steam rooms, bath houses, and oxygen bars – Table games at casinos and gaming establishments.
Phase 2, Stage 3: reopening Restrictions in Stage 3 • Social circles remain max 10 people • Indoor gatherings max 50 people • Outdoor gatherings max 100 people • Employees (performers and crews) DON’T count towards limits • Physical distancing 2 metres from those outside household or social circle remains • Religious indoor gatherings remain restricted to 30% of the capacity of a room
Phase 2, Stage 3: reopening Ontario’s has >170 health and safety guidance resources covering a wide range of workplaces on their website. If unable to open/operate people can submit a reopening proposal to obtain help from the Ontario government.

Section 22 Class Order - HPPA • Staff and customers of higher risk businesses include mask use when in prolonged close contact • Issued on July 7th , in effect July 20th • Includes: o Hair Salons and nail salons o Other personal service settings o Public transit o Cars for hire
Exemptions • Children under 12 • People with medical condition or disability inhibiting their ability to wear a face covering • People unable to apply or remove a face covering without assistance • People with accommodations under the Ontario Human Rights Code or AODA • Staff or Agents of the operator of an enclosed public space who are in an area of the premises that is designated for them and not accessible to the public, or separated by a physical barrier
Long Term Care Updates • Ontario government announced redesigned funding model • Building of additional, modern LTCHs, focus on air conditioning • Investing 1.75 billion over 5 years • LTCH updated guidance • Surveillance for LTCH staff will continue • Outdoor visits do not require testing • Indoor visits require attestation • On-site contractors also require testing • LTCHs are responsible for the tests, although Assessment Centres will be utilized
Retirement Home Updates • Retirement Home updated guidance • Essential and non-essential visitors do not need a test • RH residents are permitted to go outside of the home • Personal Care Service Providers who provide services to residents are permitted to resume operations
