Some Conclusions • The roadmap to Smart Campus is full of winding roads • People are not just stakeholders, they are more than that! • Artificial Intelligence provides systems with new “dimensions” as it can enable systems with new (emergent) behaviours • To implement Artificial Intelligence solutions often require of new ways of thinking and help pave the way for disruption • Collective Intelligence is a new dimension in itself • Collective Intelligence in applications/systems brings disruption • How to combine AI and CI? Good question! Esta foto de Autor desconocido está bajo licencia CC BY-NC-ND

Acknowledgements I am indebted to all my colleagues and former members from the SYST UPM group who always keep driving regardless the state of the road. This can be extended to my colleagues from the CITSEM Research Center. I am also indebted David Pastor, Julio Lumbreras and Sara Romero from ITD UPM for their insights, and the fruitful discussions about how to get the best from Collective Intelligence together with Artificial Intelligence. The work reported within this presentation has been partially funded by the project Crowdsaving TIN2016-79726-C2-1-R.
