The goal of the USGA and Golf Genius Software is to deliver on a promise of “less work, more fun, more revenue” in tournament management software – less work for the golf professional, more fun for the golfer and more revenue for the club or golf facility. USGA Tournament Management (TM), powered by Golf Genius Software and included with GHIN services at no additional cost, is a modern, cloud‐based software service that delivers on the “less work” part of the promise: to significantly and measurably improve the efficiency and productivity of golf operations at a golf club or public facility. USGA USGA TM Club Premium*, an optional upgrade to TM, delivers on the “more fun, more revenue” promise by providing advanced functionality squarely aimed at enhancing the golf experience for members and players, and providing the tools to capture additional revenue by offering a differentiated golf outings package that warrants a premium price. There are six core features of USGA TM Club Premium that enable the benefits of more fun for golfers and more revenue for golf clubs and facilities. “More fun” happens with live scoring, live TV leaderboards, enhanced event websites, integration of these websites into member website systems, powerful tools for event registrations and payment, and superb support for golf trips. “More revenue” happens with premium pricing for golf outings -- made possible by live scoring, live TV leaderboards, event websites with unlimited capacity for sponsor content, and event registration and payment processing. Live Scoring
• Players, golf staff and volunteers use the USGA TM Club Premium mobile app to
enter hole-by-hole scores on the course and immediately view live tournament
results on their mobile devices. Live results are also immediately displayed on
large TV displays in the clubhouse and/or golf shop, and on the member or event
website. Use live scoring for club events, league rounds, and outings to create a
whole new level of excitement for players and their online fans, and far less work
for the golf staff in quickly determining accurate final results. USGA TM Club
Premium mobile apps are available for iPhone and Android devices, and a
separate app for the iPad is available that takes advantage of the larger display.
Live TV leaderboards are versatile and valuable for any golf occasion. In addition to live
scoring and updates, you can display pre and post-round event information, sponsor
content, club or facility content, tee sheets, on-course action photos and more. If you
are taking advantage of multiple tournament formats for your event, the display will
scroll through all the results for each format. Displays are fully customizable, with
options to show club logos, banners and sponsor branding. You can add a background
or watermark to the display pages, and fully control page order, scroll rate, etc.

Sponsor Content
• The Golf Genius app used for live scoring can be customized to include sponsor
logos, branding and messaging, calls to action for donations, and more. These
branded phone apps allow golfers to enter scores and view the live leaderboard
as they play. Nonprofit and sponsor content can be displayed between some or
all 18 holes as players enter their scores or check live results.
• Live TV leaderboards draw participants together to view live action and results on
large TV displays in the clubhouse. Sponsor logos, branding and messages can
be displayed according to specific preferences, and unlimited content pages can
be interspersed with the live results pages.
• Because Golf Genius publishes a wide range of traditional printed materials in a
highly customized fashion, sponsors can have logos and messaging displayed
on any printed materials including tee sheets, scorecards, cart signs, locker tags,
bag labels, and more.
• Golf Genius makes it simple to have your own custom event website -- perfect for
including sponsor-specific branding and messaging content as well as
photography, results and more. This site is available before, during and after an
event and is viewable forever, providing your organization with the perfect
platform to stay in front of important guests and donors.

Full Integration with Club Systems
• USGA TM Club Premium integrates seamlessly with several of the most popular
club website systems, such as Clubessential, ForeTees/Flexscape, Jonas and
MembersFirst. These system level integrations (including single sign on) mean
that the custom websites you create with USGA TM CLUB PREMIUM for events
are linked to menu options on your club website.
• Integration with your club site means that members can easily find the websites
for the events in which they are interested. In practice, the custom sites and the
USGA TM Club Premium functions become an extension of your club’s own site.
• With some of our partners, site integration also takes advantage of what’s known
as single sign on. When your members sign on to your club site, they don’t need
to sign in to the event websites themselves. In this scenario, the USGA TM Club
Premium -‐ created sites also automatically “know” the member when they enter
an event website.
• Member roster information can also be passed back and forth.

Custom Event Websites
USGA TM Club Premium includes a website builder that enables the golf staff to deploy
customized websites for each club event, golf league or outing. Whereas TM Club offers
a simple website where you can edit the welcome page and include some basic pages,
USGA TM Club Premium lets you create as many web pages of any type as you want,
and offers complete control over the look, feel and content of the sites you design. To
help you with the website creation process, USGA TM Club Premium comes with an
extensive gallery of pages that you can customize and include on your websites. Event
information, format rules, pairings and tee times, results and statistics pages, photos of
the groups, the event winners, action photos out on the course, a message board -
these are just examples of the pages you can include in your event website. You can
even post videos on your sites. Members love access to the rich and varied content,
and your golf shop will receive far fewer phone calls given that so much information is
available online.
• Note that USGA TM Club Premium websites can be custom designed for
individual corporate or charity golf outings. This offers a great opportunity to
include a broad variety of sponsor content - branding, messages, donor
recognition, etc. This custom approach has real online sizzle and is a powerful

Event Registration
• Open registration for events, outings, and leagues is a useful and time-saving
feature. With open registration, the golf shop allows participants to self-register
on the web by filling out a registration form. USGA TM Club Premium enables
open registrations in order to eliminate the time-consuming manual steps
required to build a specific event roster. This feature eliminates the burden of
sign-ups over the phone (a big benefit for golf shop productivity and member
convenience), ends needless paperwork, and reduces human error
• USGA TM Club Premium provides a simple tool to create customized forms. You
use these forms for specific events to collect desired registration information
about members, guests and league players. The form has unlimited fields so you
can collect all the information you would like for a given event. In addition to
obvious fields like a guest’s home course, GHIN number and tee preference, you
can add fields where members can indicate shirt size for the guest favor, spouse
names, dinner entrée preference, etc. You can also set registration start and end
times, keep a waiting list for an event, and constrain registrations to an “eligible
group” such as women for a ladies club championship, age 55 years and up for
seniors day, etc.
• The forms are designed to be accessed from a custom designed event or league
website, which can stand alone or be linked from your club website. The
registration form can also be embedded in other sites, such as a charity sponsor
website that is organizing a golf outing at your course.
• In the club setting, members, guests and league players often register for events
by using an event registration tool provided as part of the club member website,
or via a specialized event registration system such as ForeTees. When using one
of these approaches, you can export your event roster to a spreadsheet and then
easily and quickly upload that spreadsheet to USGA TM Club Premium.
Alternatively, by using the USGA TM Club Premium open registration system
directly, the league or event roster is populated every time a player registers
online (no spreadsheets or manual entries required). One registration form can
involve multiple players, as in a member/guest event. In this instance, USGA TM
Club Premium automatically assigns team numbers to each group so that
pairings can be easily created.

• For some types of events, there are additional participant fees you need to
collect. Collecting fees can be a frustrating and tedious task. With USGA TM
Club Premium payment processing, you have the capability to securely collect
credit card information from registrants, or issue online invoices.

are ready to collect event payments and invoice participants for miscellaneous
