The Canberra Times Good Food Month Presented by Citi in association with Enlighten Festival Friday February 27 – Sunday March 15, 2015
Introduction One of Australia’s most popular food events, Fairfax Event’s Night Noodle Markets, is coming to Canberra as part of the annual Enlighten Festival for the first time in March 2015. The Enlighten Night Noodle Markets will be held over 10 nights in the nation’s capital from 27 February to March 8 on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. And there's more! Following the first-ever Canberra Times Good Food Month presented by Citi in October, 2014 a limited number of creative, one-off restaurant-based celebrations will accompany the Night Noodle Markets launch. Favourite Good Food Month features will return for just 10 days only, including Let’s Do Lunch presented by Yalumba, Coopers & Thatchers, Hats Off Dinners presented by Tanqueray and Drink and Dine. Let’s Do Lunch offers a great-priced set lunch with a matched drink from Yalumba wine, Coopers beer or Thatchers cider; Hats Off Dinners are a chance for The Good Food Guide hatted chefs to get extra creative and create one-off menus with a Tanqueray gin cocktail on arrival; Drink and Dine is all about the drinks from wine to cider to craft beer to champagne. This is just a taster of the full Canberra Times Good Food Month presented by Citi, which will return alongside Enlighten in March 2016. If you are a Canberra restaurant, cafe, bar or food producer, this is your chance to showcase what you do best, highlighting Canberra's fabulous cultural diversity as well as regional produce and wine. Event submissions are now sought for the restaurant program, to run alongside Enlighten and to be published in The Canberra Times and on-line. •
