From the Club Manager Happy New Year! I hope that you all found a way to enjoy a magical holiday season; even if it meant seeing your loved ones via FaceTime or Zoom. We desperately missed seeing you at all of our typical holiday events, but we all know that 2020 was not even close to a ‘typical’ year. I am so pleased to announce that the Board of Government has extended the $50.00 Member Credit for January, February, and March! While our aim of giving this credit is to show our gratitude and appreciation for you, our members, its benefits are twofold. Not only is it a reminder of how much we appreciate your ongoing support, but in addition, our robust takeout operations have allowed us to keep Acorn Staff employed during this difficult time. We hope that you will continue to enjoy our takeout, holiday offerings, weekly dinner specials, and more! The New Year is known as the time for resolutions. In addition to making resolutions, I also think that it is a great time to reflect on the year that has passed, and in light of all of the sadness and difficulties, be sure that we do not forget to count our blessings. On behalf of the Acorn staff, I can tell you one positive takeaway from this year is knowing that we work in such a special place. You, our members, are so special to us, and treat us all so well. We have greatly appreciated your constant willingness to pivot along with us on this journey we called 2020. Our wish for 2021 is that we see all of you as much as possible, and that you continue to feel that we are doing our best to make your Club your home away from home. Cheers!
