 • investigate and suggest means for reinforcing the adoption of
open source cloud solutions by key stakeholders

 • facilitate the interaction between academia and industry as well as
   among industry players

 • set up an all-embracing still focused supporting mechanism
available to all EC funded projects in the areas of Cloud
   Computing and Open Source

Global Objectives

• Establish and maintain a highly innovative community
consisting of players from both commercial and scientific
  sectors.
• Support the discussion about the use and facilitate the uptake of
open-source development model solutions in cloud computing
  protocols.
• Examine how the interweaving of open source and cloud
  technologies can be further stimulated.
• “Equip” users and providers of open cloud services with a
comprehensive set of guidelines that will support their daily
  business.
• Initiate/Foster an international dialogue on the “hot” topics of
interoperability and data portability involving experts from both
  Europe and Japan
