ABOUT US ALICIA BIRDER, Executive/Artistic Director Alicia is Executive & Artistic Director of Birder Studio of Performing Arts, a 501©3 non-profit studio of performing arts. Alicia launched Birder Studio in 2010 to continue to develop arts education and entertainment for our community in hopes of nurturing creative, collaborative and well-rounded performers. Birder Studio programming is based on Alicia’s belief that all children should have the opportunity to experience the joy and thrill of the theatre and live performing. From this experience, they will gain artistic and social maturity. OUR MISSION: TO EDUCATE, INSPIRE, CREATE, ACHIEVE! Our artistic educational program is for students of all ages and levels in the performing arts. It instills confidence, creativity and discipline. The training program includes musical theatre, acting, voice, jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, Irish dance, ballroom dance, piano, music theory, stage management, yoga and dance cardio. Our “On Broadway Theatre Workshops” allow all students to ON experience the joy and thrill of performing on stage. No one is BROADWAY eliminated by audition. This workshop introduces the young actor to the Ms. Rose has been teaching private and group piano since 1997 in both traditional and Suzuki methods and holds a joys of live theatre. Through the heartwarming story of the little red head, our campers will showcase their acting, master’s degree in Education from National-Louis University in Evanston, IL. She formerly taught traditional and singing and dancing skills on the Broadway Theatre stage. Montessori elementary education around the Midwest and is certified and experienced in both Suzuki piano and special needs including many brain, focus and coordination issues. Ana has a B.A. in Vocal Performance and Communication Media Studies from St. Norbert College. She is a seasoned Age 7-12 M-Th 10:00-1:00 $160 performer, having performed in countless musicals. Each student will prepare and perform Mina has danced her entire life and brings over 20 years’ dance experience in Irish, ballroom, ballet and contemporary. vocal selections on our Broadway Stage - The talent show of all talent shows! Mina holds numerous regional, national and world Irish and Ballroom Dance Titles.
