SCHOOL NEWS... Advanced Math St Francis Borgia School offers an Advanced Math program in grades 5 to 8. This program allows the better Math student to move at a faster pace. By 8th grade, the student will be covering freshman Algebra. The goal is to have as many students, as possible, to be enrolled in Honors Algebra or Geometry when they enter high school. For those not in this class, the pace is slower and the class size is smaller. The student will receive more individual attention. In 8th grade, the student will use a Pre-Algebra book, which is more advanced than 8th grade Math. To be accepted into the advanced class, a combination of factors is considered: Aspire Test scores, report card grades, daily work, and teacher’s recommendation. Decisions for entry into the class are reviewed by the principal. Register Now for the 2019 - 2020 School Year 3PS thru 8th grade Call for your personal tour 773-589-1000
RESPECT LIFE TABERNACLE Human Life Exalted LIGHTS Jesus prayed on the night before he died, "Father, give me the glory I had with you before the world began." How is Health & Blessings for the glory he has in the Ascension different from the glory he Mary Ann Trenker had "before the world began?" It differs only in that now, he Consider honoring a loved one, has it in a human nature. Our humanity has been taken to the heights of heaven, fulfilling the destiny God intended for living or deceased, human life from the beginning. Revelation 3:21 declares, by Lighting "To the one who gains the victory, I will give the right to sit a Tabernacle Candle (Church, with me on my throne." God’s plan for us is not just that we Adoration Chapel or Chapel) will gather around the throne or fall down before the throne, but that we will sit with him on the throne! This hope extended to the human family by the Gospel is directly contradicted when the same human beings destined for the heights of heaven are attacked by violence, degraded in their dignity, or put to death by things like abortion. The human nature Jesus brings to glory in the Ascension is the same human nature you and I share, and the same human nature I Mariusz Zarow & Marzena Tracz that the babies in the womb share. Celebrating the I Krzysztof Drozd & Maria Migala Ascension in daily life means treating each human life as III Mateusz Morawiec & Magdalena one destined to sit with Christ on his throne. Szczerba Father’s Day Father’s Day Special Envelopes are available at the back of the church. Prayer is a beautiful gift and a way to remember our Fathers, living and deceased. Envelopes can be dropped into the collection basket or to the rectory office. We will pray for our Fathers living and deceased on Sunday, June 16 during all Holy Masses and at all Masses during June.
