He has been a member of the Chicago Catholic Theological Union faculty since 1990. There he is Professor of Liturgy and Preaching and Chair of the Department of Word and Worship. Father Fragomeni is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Religious Studies at DePaul University, Chicago. He also serves as the Rector of The Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii, an Italian-American spiritual center in Chicago’s historic Little Italy.

Hoy, en esta región en desarrollo del mundo, muchas mujeres embarazadas y Oriental enfrentan una situación económica difícil, son abandonadas por sus parejas y sus familiares y enfrentan otras dificultades que agravan sus circunstancias. Sin embargo, en la capital lituana de Vilnius, las mujeres, quienes anteriormente se hubiesen sentido solas y vulnerables en esas circunstancias, hoy tienen acceso a asistencia y apoyo cuando enfrentan embarazos o perdidas difíciles. Desde el 2014, Krizinio Nestumo Centras (Centro para embarazos en crisis) ha brindado una gran variedad de asistencia a largo plazo a centenares de mujeres: asesoramiento psicológico, asistencia en la búsqueda de empleo, capacitación en el cuidado infantil, conocimientos prácticos para la vida como la administración de un presupuesto y terapia grupal para las mujeres que han sufrido un aborto espontaneo y hayan perdido a sus bebes.
