Ages 6 Months – 5 Years String Orchestra Camp Ages 7 -18 Years String students ages 7-high school REQUIREMENTS: At least one year’s experience playing instrument and reading music (quarter and eighth notes, minimum) Students participate daily in full string orchestra rehearsals, sectionals, and master classes/ special presentations. Three orchestra levels under the direction of CMS orchestra conductors will musically challenge every student. It includes warm- up exercises, tone, intonation and breathing techniques, and nationally-renown guest flutists. Past guests include Jeannie Baxtresser, Soo -Kyung Park, Keith Underwood, Immanuel Davis, Katherine Borst Jones, and Hadar Noiberg.
