Summer Camp 2022 – Weekly Details and Descriptions

Week 1 ‐ 6/23‐6/24                 Theme: Camp Kick Off!
Welcome to Club Connection! Why not start the week off with a bang? The first day of camp
kicks off with a Carnival! Campers will enjoy fun game booths and win some awesome prizes.
Friday is bike day! Campers can bring their own bikes or scooters (no electronic bikes, electric
scooters or hoverboards) We will decorate with some fun decor, bike wash station, and go on
our Tour De School (Don’t forget to bring your helmet). We will also be making fun crafts with
cotton candy playdough, homemade face paint, bike bins, and much more. Join us for two action
packed days full of fun and getting introduced to our summer staff and making new friends!

Far out! Are you ready to get funky for ‘Disco Dayz’ week?! Each day we will be movin’ and
groovin’ through different decades, kicking off with the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 00’s and finally, Today!
Campers will get the 4‐1‐1 on each decade by participating in some seriously radical activities,
like a Disco Glow Neon Party, Throwback Game Day, and a Camp Talent Show. But WAIT… Who
doesn’t want to get messy with some ooey gooey slime and some homemade flubber?! A
camper favorite SLIME TIME returns this week! Get ready, tell your friends, and get your boogie
dancin’ shoes ‐ Disco Dayz is going to be off the hook!

 Week 3 – 7/6‐7/8                    Theme: Backyard Bash
We are keeping the 4th of July fun going Wednesday‐Friday with a big backyard bash. We’ll be
throwing a classic BBQ, complete with grilling and backyard games. Bring your swimsuit and your
throwing arm on Thursday for our EPIC Campers vs Counselors water battle, and roll on in for
our bike and scooter day on Friday! Wear your favorite sports gear for Team Spirit Day on Friday.

Week 4 ‐ 7/11‐7/15                  Theme: Holiday Mash Up
Happy Holidays from Club Connection! This festive week includes a Friendsgiving celebration,
bike day, Minute to Win It Valentine Version and relaxing with a cozy viewing of The Polar
Express. Celebrate your favorite Holiday by wearing your most festive outfit!

Week 5 ‐ 7/18‐7/22               Theme: Jurassic and Jaws
Get ready to explore the times of when Dinosaurs roamed the land and sharks swam in the open
waters. This week long camp will give campers a one of the kind experience in marine Biology
and paleontology. This fascinating experience will have activities ranging from a virtual swim with
the sharks, Fish tank and Fossil Exhibits, shark hunt, Fish are friends not food Cooking contest
and so much more. Be aware…. Throughout the week a shark will try to attack but can your
camper make it to shore before being tagged by jaws?

Week 6 7/25‐ 7/29                 Theme: Fantastical Foodies
Put on your Apron, grab your spatula and come on in to our Fantastical Foodies week at Club
Connection. We start the week off with a race to bake in teams with a Food Relay Scavenger
hunt. We will also be checking out the DNA of a strawberry and playing super market sweep!
On Tuesday and Thursday, kids will get to try their hand in cooking a masterpiece with a few
surprises along the way in our Top Chef challenge. We are also going to be trying out some viral
food trends and attempting to beat a world record of the largest Ice cream Sunday! And that’s
not all… Campers will enjoy a picnic in the park where we will pack our own picnic and take a
walk to a nearby park to have a wonderful lunch in the sun on Wednesday! We will end the week
with a fun and crazy food competition! We also will be dancing with some electric cornstarch
and trying some new foods in our fear factor Friday. This week we will also be working on an
activity with some friends to plan, market and create our own food trucks. Campers will get a
chance to sell their food truck creations to the Club Connection Campers and Counselors.

Week 7 ‐ 8/1‐8/5                  Theme: A Camping We Will Go
Grab your fishing pole and your canteen because we are going camping! We’ll be celebrating the
great outdoors all week with great activities like a camping scavenger hunt and DIY hiking sticks.
We’ll also be hosting a talent show and a chili cook‐off! Get into the camping spirit by wearing
plaid on Friday.

Week 8 – 8/8‐8/12                   Theme: Time Travelers

Oh No! Our Time Machine...It’s Broken! This week at camp, we’ll adventure through periods of
the past and future in search of wonders, and locate our Time Machine’s missing components!
Travel with us to the Ice Age as we hunt for precious crystals in our Geode Scavenger Hunt.
Experience the Wild West with an all‐out capture the flag game, Wild Wild Heist! Journey along
with us to the Medieval Period and the Future, as we work to get back to the Present Day. There
is plenty of fun to have in these exciting times!

Week 9 – 8/15‐8/19                Theme: Bright Lights, Big City

Taaaaxi! *beep beep*
 This week take a stroll through some of the most dazzling and vibrant cities that the U.S. has to
offer. Bite into a piping hot NY style pizza, glitter up for Mardi Gras, “let the good times roll” in
Austin, and “say cheese”! for some epic celebrity meet and greets! We’re finishing the week
strong with a legendary hunt for the 7 Wonders of the World on the Las Vegas Strip! Help us put
Vegas back on the map and embrace these Bright Lights, Big Cities!!
