In BILD POLITIK, Germany’s most-quoted political editorial staff offers all those interested in politics clear answers to the most important questions of the week. Always on Fridays. Always short and sweet. Always on point. Today, news is available around the clock. The real-time flood of information often generates more questions than it answers: In the digital age, the reader is of course well-informed, but nevertheless unsettled and often enough even annoyed. Therefore, shrewdness and clarity are honoured; epic scope and complexity have become worn-out. In print media, as well. BILD POLITIK answers this with a completely new magazine structure. Our world cannot (can no longer) be structured according to politics, the economy, inside, outside. But, it can be segmented by emotions, because political events move us like never before. We therefore divide our magazine into the categories of anger, curiosity and joy. Our starting point for each article is the moment at which people think: “That can’t possibly be true!”, “Aha, interesting!”, or even, “How nice!”. If a political topic triggers such a feeling, there are always open questions. Thus, BILD POLITIK simply asks questions and answers them clearly and transparently, either with a down-to-earth report, a well-founded analysis, or an edgy opinion piece. With BILD POLITIK, the reader always knows what’s happening. With BILD POLITIK, what you see is what you get. 2

BILD POLITIK is designed for all those who are interested in politics and who are (again and again) moved by political happenings. For all who consume news primarily in digital format. For all who have little time, but who nevertheless want to follow the biggest debates. For all who are frustrated by the flow of information which bombards us daily. For all smart minds who feel like they can no longer understand politics. For all who, at the end of the week, seek the answers to all crucial questions, in condensed and compact fashion. … in Germany, that’s 5.11 million people • who are mostly between 30 and 60 years old. • who, in comparison to the population, have an exceptionally high formal level of education. • who have an exceptionally high net household income.
