Sign up for UnifiedMeeting Account • You need a UnifiedMeeting account if you organize meetings. • Visit http://scb.conferencing.com to sign up for an account. • You will receive an email within 24-48 hours containing your UM account details.

Locate UnifiedMeeting on your PC To locate UnifiedMeeting on your PC: 1. System tray on the bottom left > right click to Sign In OR 2. Go to Start > Programs > Unified Meeting > Unified Meeting

Improving Quality How do I remove unwanted noise during my meetings? Ask for operator help, press 00 for assistance Inform your audience to press*6 to mute line when not speaking (#6 to unmute) As a Leader, press *5 to mute all participants (#5 to unmute all) If I encountered other issues, how do I inform InterCall? Simply visit http://scb.conferencing.com/raiseaticket.htm and raise a ticket. The quality team will investigate and provide a report on the findings.
Self Managed Service Each meeting host must manage the call UnifiedMeeting is a self managed service, always assign a team member to manage noise and participants if the host is not able to: • Inform your audience to press*6 to mute line when not speaking (#6 to unmute) • As a Leader, press *5 to mute all participants (#5 to unmute all) • Ask for operator help, press 00 for assistance • Use UnifiedMeeting web interface
Holding large conference calls To manage a conference with a large group of participants, it is highly recommended for you to use UnifiedMeeting Web as an audio management tool. You can easily: • Check how many participants have joined the call • Mute/Unmute participants with a click • Stop participants from the next meeting from joining when current meeting overruns by “closing meeting room door” • Record the conference

1. Start a new meeting 1. Click on the UM icon in the system tray 2. Select Start Meeting
2. UnifiedMeeting Disclaimer • Click Yes
3a. Connecting with Audio By default, select First Option – Dial Me Now. 1. Key in your preferred phone number. 2. This option triggers a dial back to your phone afterwards. 3. Click Next.
3b. Starting the Meeting 1. Choose the last option, Manage my Voice Conference Call. You will be able to change this later if you wish to share documents. 2. Click Finish. 3. Your phone will ring and be prepared to answer.
4. Moderator Console This is how the interface on the moderator console will look like.
5. Mute/Disconnect the participant • As a leader, simply right click on participant’s name and select ‘Mute’ to mute the line. • Repeat same steps to unmute that line.
6. Close meeting room door • Check the box to close meeting room door. This will stop participants from joining the meeting. • When box is unchecked, meeting room is open and participants can join the meeting.
7. Recording the conference 1. Go to Meeting > Record Archive to record the web & audio of the conference. 2. Record audio and web or each exclusively. 3. Participants will hear “Conference record has joined the conference” signalling the start of the recording.
8. Retrieve the recording 1. Click on the UM icon in your system tray. Select Enter Conference Manager. 2. Select Archives 3. Choose the recording and click Download. Note: UnifiedMeeting zipped Archives are available for download within 15 days after the archive is created. The archive will be automatically deleted at this time. There will be no extension on the days of archiving.
Conferencing Etiquette • Be on time or early to your call. • Greet & identify yourself when you join/start a call. • Briefly state the agenda. • Mute your line when you are not speaking. • Be sure you are in a quiet location where you will not be disturbed and try to minimise background noise. • Do not put your phone on hold as this may put music hold into the conference

Event & Operator Assisted Calls Event/Operator Assisted Call: A pre-booked call for large audiences which is professionally managed by an operator from start to finish. Customized features can be added which include: • Managed Question & Answer Session • List of participants • Recording • Transcription To be used when: • 25 or more people • VIPs will join the call • Operator monitoring is required • Require a managed Q&A session • Town hall addresses, internal communications & marketing initiatives *Contact your Account Manager or Customer Service to book one of these calls*
