Update Scott Street Detour June 26th, the Transitway between Tunney’s Pasture and Kìchì Sìbì Station will close • Construction of the detour facilities along Scott Street will be completed prior or the detour including the temporary Transitway and temporary bus bridge west of Churchill • The Detour will be operational until the end of the Project and OC Transpo’s mirrored bus service. 3
Connectivity Scott Street Detour • 4-metre westbound sidewalk & cycle track on the north side • New sidewalk and eastbound cycle track on the south side • New protected intersections at: • Churchill Street North & Scott Street • Scott Street & Goldenrod Bridge/Smirle Avenue • New traffic signals with bus priority phasing and complementary bus priority lane (between Lanark Avenue and Island Park Drive) • Westboro Station bus stops, relocated to Scott Street 4
Utility Works Westboro Station Water services and electrical work: 2-week road closure - early May • Scott Street between Churchill and Athlone closed to eastbound traffic • Pedestrian detour on the north side of Scott Street 8

Kìchì Sìbì Station • Ongoing/Upcoming works: • Electrical work upgrading conduit for Kìchì Sìbì Station • Rock breaking and line drilling April through June, approximately • Station construction to being late summer/early fall • Construction fact: • Kìchì Sìbì Station is being constructed in same footprint described in EA and Planning Phase • Kìchì Sìbì Station will require a slight widening of the trench to accommodate the head house • The alignment east and west of Kìchì Sìbì Station is consistent with EA and Planning Phase 13
Electrical Works Kìchì Sìbì Station • Existing ductbank requires upgrade to provide power to Kìchì Sìbì Station • Schedule: week of May 2nd - week of May 30th • Hydro Ottawa does not anticipate any outages • Hydro Ottawa will excavate a ~1-metre-wide trench and backfill as work progresses • Hydro Ottawa will provide steel plates over trench to affected homeowners • Hydro Ottawa will reinstate impacted lawns and driveways 14

SJAM Connectivity Churchill Avenue The Stage 2 Project is enhancing Pedestrian Underpass connectivity in the area through the introduction of 4 new At-Grade Signalized Crossing crossings of the Sir John A near Kìchì Sìbì Station Macdonald Parkway at: 1. Pedestrian Underpass at Churchill Avenue At-Grade Signalized 2. Signalized Crossing near Crossing at Rochester Field Kìchì Sìbì Station 3. Signalized Crossing at Rochester Field Cleary Avenue 4. Pedestrian Underpass at Pedestrian Underpass Cleary Avenue 20 20
Pathways and Connectivity • NCC Pathway on the north side of the Parkway will continue to remain open throughout construction • NCC Pathway on the south side of the Parkway between Cleary Avenue and Kìchì Sìbì Station to be closed during construction • Section of pathway between Kìchì Sìbì Station and Rochester Field will be constructed this spring • Richmond Road north sidewalk to remain open throughout construction • Byron Avenue south sidewalk to remain open throughout construction 21

Community Impacts • Increased level of construction vehicles travelling through the area and trucks will use approved routes • Noise and vibration from trucks and heavy equipment should be expected • Noise and vibration levels are continuously monitored and reported to the City • Generators and pumps will be required periodically and are required to be in use day and night. • Street sweeping has resumed and will be ongoing along construction routes. 24
Construction Hours • Majority of KEV work 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday • 2022 will see an increase of intermittent overnight and weekend work • Fueling & maintenance of equipment - overnight 7 days/week • Construction lighting is required, will not be directed into residences • Night work is necessary to accommodate work that requires traffic closures that cannot be done during the day, thus mitigating impacts on the travelling public 25
