                                           Are you aware that the State of New Jersey was the first state in the country to re-
                                           quire residen al, commercial and ins tu onal recycling? The New Jersey Statewide
                                           mandatory Source Separa on and Recycling Act (the Act) challenges our residents,
                                           businesses, industry, schools and government to be environmental stewards and re-
                                           cycle to our full ability. The state’s goal is for New Jersey to recycle 50% of the solid
                                           municipal waste stream and 60% of the total waste stream. We are not there yet,
                                           but with your help we believe we can reach, and even surpass, our goal.
                                           The Township of Cherry Hill has been a con nued leader in recycling efforts and
