Parents Association Clothes Collection • From Wednesday 4th May to Monday 9th May 09:00- 17:30 daily • Please drop clothes, pairs of shoes – NO BRIC A BRAC – in tied bags into the Gannon Area

Sixth Year Notices Wednesday 4th May is the last day for sixth year photos If you are absent next Wednesday there will be no further opportunity to have your photo included in the graduation scroll. Dates for Oral and Music Practical resits have yet to be communicated by SEC – students will be informed immediately once the school is notified.
• 2 Flood had a great afternoon at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre on Thursday seeing The National Theatre's Olivier and Tony Award-winning production of 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time'.
Students and parents are reminded that teachers will be visiting third year classes to collect student accounts of 'Other Areas of Learning' Attention These student accounts will be printed on the Junior Cycle Profile of Third Years Achievement Information was emailed to students before Easter and is availble to parents in the Parents Tab of the school website under JC Hub
Leinster Finalists • The first year and second year boys had a great win in their Leinster semi final. • Under the guidance of Mr Cormican, they defeated Kilbeggan C.C. by the score line of 4-16 to 2-7. • A great performance from the team and panel. All the hard training is paying off!!
Poetry Day • Thursday was Poetry Day Ireland and we celebrated the day with a 'Poetry Open Mic' event in the school library. • Students shared some wonderful original poems that they have written and also delighted their audience with their favourite poems. • Hosted by Mr Ruane, it was a culture-filled lunchtime! • Many thanks to Mr Ruane, the student council, the creative writing group and all the students who participated.

Locker Access • Students can only access their lockers between 08:30-08:55, 10:55-11:10 and 13:10-13:40 • Student found accessing their lockers outside of this time will have their lock blocked and will have to carry their belongings • Teachers are not permitted to allow students to access lockers during class time.
The eating of food in a classroom is no longer guaranteed. Teacher To be clear – it will not be a right - It will be a privilege that students Based must respect. Rooms The teacher in charge of the room will allocate a cleaning team for each day from the tutor group list.
Cleaning of Rooms • No guests will be permitted in base rooms at little break or lunchtime other than with a written note of permission from the teacher in charge of the room. • If students are identified as not participating in the cleaning rota they • May be refused permission to use the base room • May be given litter picking duty before school or during lunchtime
Party Time •All tutor groups who keep their rooms clean and tidy after little break and lunch for the last five weeks of school will be given a budget to spend on a class Wellbeing Treat in the last week of school
