Can I buy a ticket in advance for the Varsity Football game
this Friday night at Detroit Catholic Central?
Answer:
Yes!
We are selling tickets in the front office between
7:00am and 4:00pm
Wednesday, Sept. 1 and Thursday, Sept. 2
$5 per person
TICKETS WILL ALSO BE FOR SALE AT THE GATE FRIDAY EVENING.

Registration Information
Information and registration forms can be picked up at the DHS front office.
To register, you may do so online at https://dcer.davisonschools.org OR
fill out front and back of the paper form, clearly mark selections, complete
transportation information & make sure your payment is attached OR
you may call DCER at 810-591-0175 to register by phone.
Registration DEADLINE is Wednesday, September 22nd.

Ms. Aboneaaj’s room 212
after school TODAY, Wed., September 1st.

National Honor Society Meeting
The first National Honor Society meeting is
Wednesday, September 8th,
in the auditorium.
Current NHS members can choose to attend either
before school at 9:00am or after school at 2:45pm.
If you cannot make it to either meeting,
please see Mrs. Davis in room 250.
Interested in the Navy?
Navy Chief Petty Officer Kowger will be
at DHS on Tuesday, September 9,
during the lunch time to talk with students
who are interested in information
about the Navy.
He will be located in the Career Center
at the back of the Guidance Office.
Homecoming Dance Outside Dates
The Homecoming Dance will be held on
Saturday, October 2, 2021, from
7:00pm—10:00pm.
Guests age 20 and under will be considered
for approval as an outside date. NO guests age
21 or older will be considered under any circumstances.
If you want to bring an outside date to this dance, you
must complete a School Dance Guest Application and it
must be completed by your guest’s school administrator
AND returned to DHS by NOON, Friday, Sept. 24.
These forms are now available in the front office.

Anime Club
Anime Club will be hosting their first meeting
on Wednesday, September 1, 2021,
after school from 2:45pm—3:45pm
in Mrs. Stedry’s room 220.
If you have any questions, stop in and
see Mrs. Stedry in room 220.
ATTENTION CLASS of 2023
Take the PSAT/NMSQT to enter the
National Merit Scholarship Program
The test will be held on
Wednesday, October 13
at Davison High School.
You MUST sign up in the Main Office with
Mrs. Sullivan where you will also indicate
if you need transportation that day.
Upcoming Elections for Open Class Officer Positions
Students should go to 1st hour and will be called out
at the appropriate time.

September “Gold Out” Campaign
Davison Community Schools is pleased to announce once again that it is partnering
with Hilton Screeners to raise funds for Childhood Cancer through a “Gold Out”
apparel program during the month of September.
A percentage of sales will be donated to St. Jude’s for child cancer research.
In addition, our September 24 home football game will be a GOLD OUT game
where people will be encouraged to wear their gold clothing to show their support.

Jostens
Jostens will be at DHS on
Friday, September 16,
for an informational meeting for
Seniors & Sophomores.
Seniors will be from 8:10—8:40
Sophomores will be from 9:10—9:40
Jostens will return on Friday, Sept. 24
during lunch times to take orders.

If your student is late, they should report to the
Attendance Office when they arrive and complete
a check in and receive a pass to class.
If your student has an appointment and needs to leave
school early, please call the attendance line at
810-591-1165 to leave a message. Please include your
student’s name and the TIME they are to be released.
Attendance will have a pass for them to pick up
either between hours or at the time they are to be
released.
If you are picking the student up, please wait in your
vehicle and the student will be sent out at the
release time that you indicated.
