ANNUAL REPORT OUR 3 STRATEGIC AXES OF GROWTH • We will give our alumni 1 opportunities to grow 2 • We will grow our membership 3 • We will help our schools grow 8
ANNUAL REPORT PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (PPD) Objective: Provide our alumni with opportunities for personal growth through insights, tools and practice on several topics, in a neutral, secure and friendly environment, at a reasonable price. The PPD is deployed along the three leadership axes: • leading myself, • leading my team, • leading in the organization. Since its beginning, the following events have been organised: ✓ Centered Leadership ✓ Inspirational Leadership ✓ Organizational Intelligence ✓ How to really change your behavior and avoid New Year's resolution syndrome? (Ofman Quadrant – Immunity to Change) ✓ Crisis, An opportunity? (Introduction to NLP) And the upcoming events before the summer holidays are: April 27th-28th :The Art and Science of Networking or How to avoid networking disasters? May 30th – Special Event : Ellen Petry Leanse the famous Silicon Valley influencer ! May25th-26th : Business Model You : How to frame the job you deserve, with the people you deserve? Topics are introduced during a teaser evening and developed during a 1,5 day residential seminar. 9
ANNUAL REPORT PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT Leadership Development Club Change does not happen through a one-off training, but on the long run, when new habits are implemented. To offer the PPD participants the opportunity to keep on working on their intended personal changes, we created the Leadership Development Club. Every PPD participant is a member of the LDC and is invited to join our closed Facebook group. Next to keeping the links between participants, communicating about events, sending reminders for actions, … the LDC also organises « re-union » events. Examples are diners (sometimes with a short PPD practice), meditation practice discovery, special speaker for the X-Mas event, … The LDC Summer Event is planned on June 8th. To come soon : proposed books and readings, together with book reviews by LDC members. The Team Marianne KREMER + Isabelle LANGLOIS-LORIS Supported by Deborah LACHER, Anja KUEMMERLEIN and Fabienne BECKER 10
ANNUAL REPORT PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT “I was a little sceptical about the PPD event in Waterloo. Could I really learn anything new about “how to implement change – in myself”? YES! Marianne & Isabelle taught me much about change and new approaches to human interactions. Much food for thought. Impressed.” Steve, (MBA 2000) “Once again, this PPD seminar hit a A really interesting and plentiful day learning home run. Both speakers mastered about new domains, enriched with a group their subject in great depth, and the mix of people open to listen, to share and to of frameworks and practical exercises in have fun.
