To say I’m incredibly grateful would be an understatement. The past 3.5 years at Gardner-Webb as a student-athlete have been the most testing, yet fulfilling years that I have experienced. I have made lifelong friends and the knowledge and expertise that I have learned from my coaches I will carry for the rest of my life. Gardner-Webb has given me opportunities to grow spiritually, physically and emotionally. I cannot thank the University enough. I’m incredibly excited to see what the football team will do this year and for years to come. SkoDawgs! —BRANDON LEAHEY

The moment I stepped onto the Gardner-Webb campus, I immediately knew this was where God was calling me. I love playing volleyball, and when given the opportunity to play at the collegiate D1 level, I went for it. Not only has this community helped me further my education and let me play the game I love, but it has also helped me grow in my relationship with God. The people here are incredible, and the love and support we receive from all of our faculty, coaches, and students really does make Gardner-Webb feel like a home away from home. —ABBEY SPRINKLE BULLDOG CLUB MY TEAM* As a Bulldog Club Member, you’ll get exclusive benefits like Have a favorite GWU team?
