The Slopes Nursery Slopes • Beginners will start learning on gentle nursery slopes, but will soon progress onto the green marked runs • These runs are nice and wide and are ideal for perfecting your snowplough turns. • Great for building confidence and technique https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYy-6IwG3_M
Intermediate Slopes • These are the blue and red marked runs on the piste map • The resort has a great selection of sweeping blues and challenging red runs for intermediate skiers to enjoy • These slopes will help students improve their technique safely and in control https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVf8LQ7ymAA
Advanced Slopes • These are the red and black runs marked on the piste map • Advanced skiers are able to explore what the mountain has to offer • They will have the opportunity to fine tune their technique https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiYveocIAoU

The journey by coach is estimated to take 22 hours including the ferry crossing- it’s not as bad as it sounds!

* The Academy reserves the right to remove any student from the trip if their behaviour is not acceptable in the lead up to the trip. In previous years students have been prevented from attending trips * In the unlikely event that a student is involved in a major behaviour incident on the trip it is parent/carers responsibility to collect their child from Andorra * No alcohol allowed- including those students over the age of 18 * Students will be issued with an emergency mobile phone contact number for the duration of the trip
* 83 students attending the trip + 12 staff * A real mix of abilities * Students will be assessed on the first morning and put into groups on ability * A visit to Xscape will be arranged prior to the trip to enable complete beginners to learn the basics- Around Jan/Feb 2020.
