Diaper Thanks for everyone who donated to the diaper drive! We collected Drive hundreds of items that will help families served by Wellroot Family Services and Caring4Clarkston! Thank You Wellroot Family Services is celebrating its 150-year anniversary caring for children and families in Georgia. This year, we are helping to kick off Wellroot’s Founder’s Week and Foster Care Awareness Month by fundraising and participating in The Founder’s Day Virtual 5K to support and raise awareness for the needs of children and families at Wellroot. Your participation and donation is absolutely vital to furthering their mission—offering more children, young adults, and families the benefits of a healthy, stable, and safe home. By becoming a virtual runner/walker you will receive a T-Shirt after the event and will receive weekly tips on how to get in shape to run a 5K (about 3 miles). Most importantly, you will be supporting care for marginalized children and families in GA. On May 1, 2021, the day of the race, you can run or walk wherever you are and send a picture for posting on Wellroot’s social media platform, if you like. We want Oak Grove to take away all the honors for most participants and most contributions! Register online (ogumc.org/news).
