In the narthex and the basement at church, there are boxes for your donations. Each month we will publish in the Chronicle items that are needed. The food pantry can use most non-perishable items and household cleaning products. They will even accept frozen meats. All donated items are appreciated. Below are the items in most need. 2

Bill Sumner has agreed to take over my position with the Consistory’s approval. The Cemetery Board met on November 1, 2018 and approved this transfer. I wish to thank the support I have had for the past 25 years.. But feel now it is time that I retire. Thanks again, Bob Mast. Reverend Charles Bigelow As many of you know, Reverend Charles (Chuck) Bigelow is being considered as our settled part-time pastor. He will be covering the four Sundays of Advent so that members of St Andrew’s will have opportunities to hear him before we take a Congregational vote on January 6, 2019. Chuck has been here as a guest Minister and lives in the Dexter community. He recently retired from a full-time position with the Reformed Church of America in New Jersey and has felt the call to return to the ministry. Contributions and Offerings for 2018 Any financial donations to be made to the church and posted for the 2018 calendar year will need to be received in the office by 2:00 pm on Monday, December 31. Donations after that time will be applied to your 2019 giving account. Thank you! End of the Year Reports Officers and committee chairpersons are asked to submit a written report of their respective events and activities for 2018. Typed reports are appreciated and due in the office by January 13, 2019. Upcoming Elections At the Church’s Annual Meeting in February, we hold Consistory elections. There will be openings for two Deacons with a 3-year term and one Elder with a 3-year term. The Deacon positions are open to anyone who is a 3

Financial Note: Income rose in October with the good work on the Fall Rummage Sale and we still try our best to keep expenses down. The sad news is our Endowment Fund slipped in October due to the markets. Financial Note: We have gone through the third quarter of the year with the 2018 Budget. If we followed the proposed budget, by the end of September our income should have been around $97,000 and expenses about the same. Yes, we are down with income, however December is usually a good month for giving plus we will have 3 monthly dinners and the rummage sale in the last quarter. On the plus side we are trying very hard to curb expenses. 7
