Sleeps up to 6 people! Savannah Cabins at Taronga Western Plains Zoo For high quality self contained accommodation in a unique location, look no further than the Savannah Cabins. Set on natural grasslands adjacent to the Zoo with an outlook towards the African Savannah (just 280m in the distance), the Savannah Cabins offer affordable family accommodation. Each cabin features two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one main and one en-suite) and can sleep up to six people. One bedroom features a king bed that can be configured into singles if required, whilst the other bedroom has a queen bed. A sofa bed is located in the lounge area. One cabin is equipped with disabled access including an accessible bathroom. Each cabin is air conditioned, with a fully contained kitchen with refrigerator as well as alfresco dining area with barbeque*. There’s also free wifi and Foxtel. The Savannah Cabins provide guests with the freedom to stay and explore the Zoo, or see what Dubbo and the surrounding region has to offer, with the flexibility to come and go. Alternatively guests can simply relax and take in the peace and tranquillity of this unique setting. *Please note that in the event of a total fire ban the barbeques are not permitted to be used at the Savannah Cabins, this is part of our commitment to keep our staff, visitors and animals safe. Rates Discounted rooms are available for ASV Conference attendees, please mention the ASV Conference Group Booking to ensure you receive the exclusive conference-only cabin prices! Rates start from $220* per cabin per night (normally $279), each cabin accommodates up to six people. Admission as well as additional tours, animal encounters, bike or electric cart hire and food hampers can be added to your booking. Please ask our Reservation Consultants for more information. All prices quoted are GST inclusive, where GST is applicable. Please note that our daily changes are subject to change without notice. * A surcharge applies during peak periods (school and public holidays and Saturday nights). Cots can be provided at a charge of $20 each. All guests receive a 10% discount at Bakhita’s Cafe and the Zoo Shop, as well as off animal encounters and bike hire.

Taronga Western Plains Zoo accept payment via credit card, electronic funds transfer, and bank or company cheques. No personal cheques will be accepted. Remember In the event of cancellation the following fees will apply: to ask for the • Outside 30 days prior to arrival - full refund discounted • 30 days to 15 days prior to arrival - penalty of $100.00 per cabin per night ASV conference • 14 days prior to arrival - a full cancellation penalty will be applied. Should you amend your cabin rates! reservation to an alternative date, an amendment fee of $100.00 per cabin will apply. Check in Check in time is 2pm - 4pm. On arrival at the Zoo please head to the information counter at the Savannah Visitor Plaza to complete a quick check-in process before being provided directions to the Savannah Cabins. For late check-in please advise the Reservation Consultants who will provide you with our late check-in procedure. Check out time on your day of departure is 10am. For Savannah Cabins packages that include Zoo admission, guests are welcome to explore the Zoo on the first day if their stay (prior to check-in).
