Greetings! We invite you to participate in our 2nd Annual Kids, Family, and Home Expo! This exciting event is scheduled for Saturday, March 7 from 9am—2pm at the Savage Sports Center located inside Savage Community Park. This event is designed to connect our great business community with the families that are living in it in a fun and entertaining environment! We want YOU to be the entertainment. We are asking each business to host an activity at their booth. This a great way to connect with parents! If you want to make a big impression, sponsorships are also available. Get noticed! Sponsors get prime placement at the show along with exposure through marketing leading up to the event. Sponsorships range in price from $500-$1200 and are a great way to maximize your exposure to potential clients. Sponsorship levels are listed on the form included. The show will be open to the public, with free admission. We have included a registration form for your con- venience, but you can also register online at www.savagechamber.com, or by calling 952.894.8876. ACTIVITY IDEAS Host an activity at your booth! Games: Spin the Wheel, Bean Bag Toss, Ladder Ball, Ball Toss, Guess How Many, Bowling Crafts: Paper Bag Puppets, Watercolors, Paper air- planes, Paper & Crayons, Color Masks/Hats, Balloon Artist: Hire a professional balloon artist to make fun and funny balloon art! Face Painting: Hire or do it yourself! Art Project: Get creative and have Music: Have a dance party at your booth! Raffles: Encourage people to sign up to win a prize at your booth! Hand outs: Do you have a cool product? Hand out samples or trinkets at your booth! Books: Read a book, or hire a princess to read a book to your audience! Trivia/Jokes: Easy, free, and funny! Stump your audience on clever jokes or trivia! Photo Booth: Bring props and let people take a fun photo with your business! 2020 Guidelines & Instructions VERY IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY 1. Location of the Kids, Family, & Home Expo – Savage Sports Center 13450 Dakota Ave in Savage. 2. Exhibitor Check In Time: 6:30am – 9:00am Saturday, March 7 (day of the show only). The show is in a dome where air pressure must be regulated. Check in early to make sure you are set up by 9 a.m. 3. Exhibitor Check In Table will be located inside the dome area of the Savage Sports Center. 4. Exhibitor Parking will be by the Environmental Learning Center (ELC) – all exhibitors are asked to park there, to leave room for guests attending the show. 5. Unloading/Loading your vehicle: Exhibitors may unload there vehicles at the garage door adjacent to the build- ing. Vehicles using the garage will need to line up along the curb outside the dome, not to block move-in traffic, proceed to the garage door to unload, and then park their vehicle in the assigned parking lot by the ELC. This procedure is HIGHLY recommended for businesses that have large items they will be bringing or items that will not fit easily through the revolving doors inside the building. 6. Please have your booth or display set-up at your pre-assigned table(s) by 9:00am. If you are not checked in by 9:00am you may lose your pre-assigned space and be changed to a different location. As a courtesy, do not change tables or assigned location. 7. Displays: If you have any displays that will exceed 300 lbs, or will require water please contact me immediately. Any display that has legs, need to have something at the bottom of them, such as small pieces of wood, metal or plastic. The use of tents is permitted, but again, you will need to have something under the legs. Stakes are not permitted. If you have questions regarding your display, please contact me so we can discuss it. Keep in mind we are on new turf, so protecting it is very important! 8. Electricity: Booths that registered for electricity have been placed along the outside area of the show. Businesses MUST bring their own extension cords, minimal 100 ft. long, and splitters. There will not be any extension cords available for use at the Sports Center. 9. Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available in the dome. Username and Password can be found on the door entering the dome. 10. NO balloons are allowed either as an exhibitor decoration or as giveaway. 11. NO food or beverages (except water) are allowed in the dome. Wrapped food or candy is acceptable. 12. You are welcome to have items to give away (pencils, buttons, stickers etc.) at your exhibit. 13. The show will end at 2pm and we ask that you do not start tearing down until 2pm. Please place all waste pa- per, etc. in trash receptacles in your area. Remove all signs and banners and leave your area clean. 14. You will be given 1 lunch ticket with your booth. 15. Ask questions or assistance from any Savage Chamber of Commerce volunteer. They will be wearing nametags.
