A NEW BEGINNERS Tennis Program is Starting From 18th May 2019 SATURDAYS 11am-12noon at John Mountford Reserve, Court 3, Welfare Ave (off Shorter Ave) Beverly Hills. This program will focus on learning the basic skills and techniques of tennis. The program will focus on developing and practicing basic basketball skills and techniques. Hi, my name is Tina and I have joined the RSAC Administration team as the Program and Projects Coordinator. I will be visiting all the programs, organising and helping out at RSAC Events and Holidays. I will also be running the Hurstville Friendship Group on a monthly basis. I look forward to meeting you all! Congratulations to RSAC Canterbury Bankstown for Organisation of the Year 2019! Thank you for your Support! Come and Join a Program! These programs have capacity and we’d love to see you there! Wednesday Bowling: How about coming along and joining our friendly group and play Tenpin Bowling at Strathfield Superbowl 546 Liverpool Rd South Strathfield. Maybe even have a bite to eat afterwards. Bowling starts at 5:30pm and you have the choice to play 1 or 2 games. So come along and bowl up a storm! Saturday Soccer: Bend it like Beckham at our Kids & Young Adults Saturday Soccer Program. This program starts at 9:30am and finishes 11am at Peakhurst Public School (Enter at back gate Greenlands Ave, Peakhurst). Come down to the field and see how many goals you can score! Our players worked up a sweat showing off their skills on the court. Thank you to Bruce and Garth Andrews who volunteered to coach on the day. Recreation, Sports and Aquatics Club (RSAC) wants to make sure that everyone enjoys their participation in RSAC activities in a safe and friendly manner. RSAC Camps and Holidays book out quickly, with all 2019 Camps and Holidays booked out. Types of Holidays Include: Carers and Kids Camps Over 21’s Holidays for more Independent Travellers up to 1:4 Supported Holidays- Inclusive for those who require more Assistance 1:3 Family Easter Camp- Fully Inclusive- No Individual Support Provided Carers Getaway Social Club Camp- For Social Club Members Only The following schedule of Camps and Holidays for 2020 are being planned. Register your interest. (See Overleaf) A 20% deposit will be required to hold each booking. NDIS can be utilised to pay some or all of your Holiday if it fits your plan. Contact Jenny or Melody on 9790 5001 to discuss if you are unsure. Make sure you put Camps in your plan if you would like to go. These come under Social and Community Access and help with Goals of Independent Living, Community Access, Social Skill, Money Management and Personal Development. All Holidays require a Minimum Number of Bookings to Proceed. All Independent Holidays are costed at 1:4 ratio of support. Higher level support can be accommodated, contact Jenny to discuss. Whether it is to make new friends, learn a new skill, improve one’s health & fitness or even just getting a strike, goals are important.
