On big wins, the club has been awarded a building grant for just under $200,000 via the Emergency Services B en Pope Refurbishment Fund from the Victoria Government. The Bancoora SLSC President club is very grateful for the support and will put these valuable funds to great use in further developing the club. We expect to be able to share more news with members on this funding later on in the season. We would also like offer a very warm welcome to a brand new club sponsor – RapidMap. In this edition: raining Update T from Callum Training update from Callum We have two bronze medallion courses underway at the moment with 16 participants in total, a very impressive 2020/21 Patrol Roster number! Requal News We started off with zoom sessions whilst we waited for approval to return to the club – the zoom sessions were a 2020/21 Nippers and Mozzies Reports from great success! The new bronzies have been learning a whole Craig Sherman range of skills from first aid to performing board rescues to patrol skills. Nippers and Mozzies Registration day checklist! It has been a tricky season for training with COVID restrictions and new course content and a brand new Banny Uniform Update member training website to deal with. A massive thanks to all of our trainers and assessors Barry Hunt, Cara Edwards, Congrats to our young Bancoora Leaders Christine Pope, Dora Dos Santos, Fay Briggs, Hamish Edwards, Lisa Happ and Sam Ficarra for helping out. You have all done amazingly and we could not have done these Crossy’s Corner courses without you! Requal News ippers and Mozzies N Report from As previously advised, it’s time to complete your annual Skills Maintenance.
