WHAT IS IA? The Cable Center’s Intrapreneurship Academy (IA) is one of the industry’s leading career development and educational programs. In this unique 8-week course, participants learn and apply the process of innovation while advancing a real-world project within their companies.
INTRAPRENEURS ARE CHANGE AGENTS Entrepreneurs get all the press when it comes to innovation. But the unsung heroes of innovation in business today are those driving change within their organizations. These are the intrapreneurs — people who turn ideas into products, programs, or processes that add measurable value to their companies.
IA GOES BEYOND THEORY • Theory is reinforced with the integration of a real-world innovation project, which advances from problem identification through the creation of an innovation business plan • Innovation is taught as a step-by-step process – providing a timeless toolkit for future innovation projects • IA includes the active involvement of an internal Sponsor who assists in navigation of the political landscape “It’s one thing to sit in a classroom and talk about theory… it’s another thing to apply what you’ve learned with a real-life project.” – Ubek Ergashev, Sr. Product Analyst – Machine Q Comcast & IA Participant
