CHESS RESULTS Chess vs Hoërskool Randburg – 2 June Games were played online in the School’s Media Centre using the lichess.org platform. 12 players represented Rand Park. A Team RPHS 4.5 – 7.5 Randburg B Team RPHS 9 – 3 Randburg Top Player Amy Rushworth (Gr 9) who won both her games Blitz Online Chess Battle – 4 June Rand Park competed in the Blitz Online Battle hosted by JNW Chess on Friday, 4 June. A total of 108 participants and nine schools competed, including a JNW Teachers and a Coaches’ Team. 15 players represented Rand Park. Rand Park High School placed 2nd overall with 131 points.
