Come and join me, Elly Clues, and I will show you my favourite
region of France – Provence
On this 8-day, 7-night tour I will show you some of my favourite villages and
markets in Provence
You will learn more about the wines of the region
by visiting one of the major wine merchants in the area
We will hunt for Truffle with a very clever dog and his master
We will experience a 3-hour cooking class and taste our creations
I will take you to explore the ancient Ochre fields
You will learn all about French chocolate making
We visit the breathtaking exhibition at the Carriere de Lumieres
And of course we take you to our carefully chosen and favourite restaurants
to ensure a gourmet experience each and every night
This 7-night, 8-day Tour takes place in May and in September
If you join us in May for this Tour you will be in Poppy season,
guaranteed to be enjoying fields and fields of red poppies!
People who have joined us enjoyed the tour and its’ program immensely

Live like a local!
For the entire duration of the 7-night Tours you and your fellow travellers
will stay in a lavish private Villa with swimming pool
So, no pack and unpack of your suitcase every day
Plus, it allows you to live and feel like a local for the week!
We have 2 stunning Villa’s we use for our Tours; it depends on the number of
guests for each Tour which Villa will be booked
Accommodation in both Villa’s is based on a private room and bathroom for
each guest, except for couples who will be sharing a room
or for friends who wish to share

Itinerary
Day 1 – Saturday
We meet at Avignon TGV station between 1.30 – 2PM
which coincides with a train arrival from Paris and from Nice
Transfer to your Villa
Settle in, followed by welcome drinks and dinner at our home
Day 2 – Sunday
9.30AM depart for the village of L’Isle sur la Sorgue
On Sundays a lovely market and Brocante market
takes place here on the banks of the river Sorgue
Lunch at a restaurant in L’isle
After lunch we visit one of the local wine merchants
to learn more on how wine is harvested and processed, followed
by a tasting of the goods
Return to the villa
7pm Dinner at a local restaurant
L’Isle sur la Sorgue
L’Isle sur la Sorgue is set on the banks of the river Sorgue and
is known as the ‘Venice’ of the Provence
The town is also known for its many Antique stores and colourful market which
runs through the streets and alongside the riverbank
Day 3 – Monday
On this day we make our way to our 3-hour Cooking class
During this class you will learn all about the art of Provencal cooking
and prepare some traditional dishes
After your time in the kitchen we will move to the farm table and enjoy our
creations accompanied by local producers from the area
Followed at 6pm by the Truffle Hunt
Experience Provence off the beaten track with one of France’s most traditional
and secretive countryside traditions, the Truffle Hunt.
Followed by a sampling of fresh truffle hors d’oevres & Champagne
Return to the Villa
Day 4 – Tuesday
9.30AM depart for the spectacular village of Gordes
and its Tuesday market
Lunch in Joucas, a neighboring village, enjoying the most amazing views
Return to the Villa for an afternoon of leisure
Relax at the pool or stroll into your village for an ice cream or some retail therapy
Dinner at your own leisure tonight

Day 5 – Wednesday
Depart at 8.30AM to visit St Remy de Provence
This gorgeous town has so much atmosphere
In the afternoon we visit the Carriere de Lumieres where a fantastic light and
sound show will take your breath away!
Dinner this evening is at a very special place!

Day 6 – Thursday
Breakfast at any time as this is a morning of leisure
Laze around the pool, walk into the village……
You decide, the morning is all yours
Or, come join me for a 2km walk in the stunning valley of the Ochres
Lunch at the Villa at your own leisure
This afternoon we will make our way to the villages of Bonnieux,
the former summer home of the Popes and its church dating back to
the 12th century, the village of La Coste, the former residence of
the Marquis de Sade and the village of Fontaine de Vaucluse,
where the river Sorgue comes thundering out of the rock face

Day 7 – Friday
9AM depart for the village of Lourmarin
See the sights and the market
After lunch we will learn all about French chocolate making
Dinner at a local restaurant
Day 8 – Saturday
Breakfast at 8.30AM
At 10AM it sadly is time to say goodbye
as this is the end of the Tour
We will arrange for your transfer to Avignon TGV station where your expected
arrival time will be around noon

*Your passport needs at least 6 months validity at the time of departure
from Australia.Terms and Conditions Cancellation fees: A deposit payment is non-refundable unless we can on-sell your place. Departure of this tour is dependent upon a minimum of 6 persons. Your deposit payment will be fully refunded in case the tour does not meet the minimum participants and is cancelled. Your balance payment is strictly due 8 weeks prior to the start of the tour for which we will send you a reminder email. A balance payment is non-refundable unless we can on sell your place. We recommend you make sure that your Travel insurance policy covers your cost in case of cancellation. Suggestions
Flights and trains:
You are responsible for organizing your own air and train travel.
We recommend that you arrive in France a day or so prior to
the start of the tour so you can rest from your flight and to
allow for any possible flight delays. It is important that you arrive
at Avignon TGV station on the suggested time so as not to inconvenience your
fellow guests.
Since the tour ends in Nice, it is possible to fly home from Nice
instead of from Paris. Many airlines offer this option.
We can assist and advise you with your bookings.
Travel insurance:
A comprehensive Travel insurance is a must to join the tour.
