January 17, 2021 Second Sunday after the Epiphany Prayer Triplets During the season of Lent, you are invited to participate with a prayer triplet for discussion and prayer. This is a great way to get to know two other people in the church and deepen your faith through discussion of the week's sermon and sharing prayer together. You will be assigned to a triplet and your group can decide the best time to meet each week. Each Triplet will meet 6 times, once a week from February 21 - April 3. Those wishing to participate should register at ogumc.org/news by Monday, February 1.

Sermon Christianity Start-Up Instructions: Dr. Beth LaRocca-Pitts Discipleship Offertory Prayer Mary and Curt Lindquist O Christ, you have sent us as apostles into the world, to share your gospel with every person. Offertory Anthem Allegro Moderato A Dvořák David Naglee, violin; Leanne Herrmann, piano *Affirmation of Faith 1 Timothy 2:5-6;1:15;3:16 Porter Bemiss There is one God and there is one mediator, Christ Jesus, who came as a ransom for all, to whom we testify. This saying is sure and worthy of full acceptance: That Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners, and was manifested in the flesh, vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed in throughout the world, taken up in Glory. Great indeed is the mystery of the gospel. Amen. *Sending Hymn Forth in Thy Name, O Lord UMH 438 *Benediction Dr. LaRocca-Pitts *Congregation stand as able.
