Police arrived on scene and the residence was cleared A second handgun was by Southfield Police K-9 Unit. Victim stated there was a taken and two TV’s. safe taken containing an undisclosed amount of cash, jewelry and a handgun. There was also a second handgun taken from a shelf in her closet. The incident occurred on 03/07/2022 sometime between 7:50am and sometime after 10:18am when R/P returned home. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician processed the scene. Surveillance Video shows what appears to be a Burgundy Chrysler 200 pulling into victim’s driveway. Investigation is on-going.
From: 03/07/2022 16000 W Lincoln Dr. Laundry room Southfield Officers responded to Home Invasion just 9:15am window was discovered in the 16000 Block of Lincoln Dr. To: 03/07/2022 broken out. R/P reported she came home, entered the house, 2:00pm observed broken glass, exited the home and immediately called the Police. Officers arrived on scene and cleared the residence of any intruders. Further investigation revealed that entry was made into residence via the laundry room. The window was broken out and there were muddy boot prints on top of the appliances under the window. Several items are missing from the residence: -Google Chromebook -Lenovo Professional Laptop -Lenovo Inteli-5 7200 -Cash Taken from Kitchen -Cash Stolen from Bedroom Night Table -Custom Engraved Leather Purse -Leather/ 18"x18" Tallis Bag with Religious Material. S - Stolen Victim arrived home around 5:00pm and parked 5:00pm (Apartments) Manufacturer her 2017 Maroon Lincoln MKZ in the parking lot LINCOLN To: 03/07/2022 Model at her Apartments in the 27000 Block of MKZ 6:00pm Color Greenfield Rd. Victim believes she left her keys in MAR - Maroon or her apartment door because she can’t find them. Burgundy Victim looked out the window in her apartment Vehicle Year 2017 around 6:00pm and seen her vehicle leaving the License Year 2022 apartment complex. She did not give anyone Description permission to take her vehicle. Maroon 2017 Lincoln MKZ No suspect information. Status 03/09/2022 26000 Northwestern Hwy. I – Stolen Vehicle R/P states he parked & locked his 2021 Dodge 6:09pm (Commercial Automotive) Manufacturer Charger Scat Pack in the parking lot where he DODGE Model works. 26000 Block of Northwestern Service Dr. CHARGER Color He went inside for his day of work and returned WHI - White Vehicle Year to his vehicle around 6:00pm. He discovered his 2021 Body Style key fob was not unlocking his vehicle. As he 2D - 2 Door approached his vehicle he observed the broken State MI rear driver side window. He also observed the License Year 2022 cable hanging from under the passenger side Description White 2021 Dodge dashboard where the suspect(s) attempted to Charger steal the vehicle. No suspect information.
Status 03/09/2022 Lahser Rd. & R - Recovered Stolen Officer r responded to a traffic accident at Lahser 10:27am W Eleven Mile Rd. Manufacturer FORD and Eleven Mile Rd. Officer arrived on scene and Model called out that one of the drivers who was ESCAPE Color responsible for the accident had fled from them SIL - Silver or Aluminum on foot towards a business in the area. Vehicle Year The suspect was last seen on foot running down 2019 Body Style the embankment towards I-696. Officer observed 4D - 4 Door State the suspect walking west on the highway. Officer MI advised the suspect to stop. He did not comply. License Year 2022 The suspect was running while talking on the Description Stolen Recovered phone. Additional Officers arrived and the Involved in Injury suspect was taken into custody without incident. Accident Recovered Date/Time The Ford Escape the suspect was driving was a 03/09/2022 11:30am Location confirmed stolen vehicle out of another Lahser Rd. and Eleven Mile Rd. jurisdiction. Officers located a Ford Fob on the arrested subject’s person that was programed and operated the stolen vehicle. Status 03/09/2022 20000 Wakefield Way S - Stolen Victim states he parked his 2018 White Dodge 7:39am (Apartment Complex) Manufacturer Durango SRT in the 20000 Block of Wakefield DODGE Model Way. (Apartment Complex) DURANGO Color Sometime between 03/08/2022 6:30pm and the Vehicle Year 2018 following morning at 6:30am someone stole the Body Style 4D - 4 Door vehicle. There was a laptop and some misc. State clothing in the vehicle when it was taken. MI Description No suspect information. White 2018 Dodge Durango Note: The vehicle was recovered by neighboring jurisdiction on 03/09/2022 at approx. 1:49pm. The only damage to the vehicle was a broken rear passenger window. No arrests were made.
Status From: 03/09/2022 23000 Riverside Dr. S - Stolen R/P states he parked his 2018 White Dodge 6:00pm (Apartments) Manufacturer Journey in the 23000 Block of Riverside DODGE To: 03/10/2022 Model (Apartments) in his attached garage on JOURNEY 6:55am Color 03/09/2022, at approx. 6:00pm. WHI - White Vehicle Year R/P advised he leaves his car unlocked, along 2018 Body Style with the keys inside the vehicle on the passenger 4D - 4 Door seat because his vehicle is parked in the garage. State MI R/P is unsure if he closed the garage after parking Description 2018 Dodge journey it. R/P discovered the vehicle missing the following morning at 6:55am. Status 03/12/2022 22000 W Eight Mile Rd. S - Stolen On 03/12/2022 Officer was working a detail at 4:26pm (Wholesale Food & Goods) Manufacturer business in the 22000 Block of Eight Mile Rd. CHEVROLET Model At approx. 4:00pm he was alerted by an TRAILBLAZER Color employee that a customer's vehicle was stolen WHI - White Vehicle Year from the parking lot. 2007 Body Style State Officer located the customer and was advised MI that her 2007 White Chevy Trail Blazer was taken Description 2007 TRAILBLAZER, while parked in the south end of the parking lot Notes Tint All Around, Silver at business. Bumpers (Front/Rear) A review of surveillance video shows the vehicle entering the parking lot at 4:06pm and parking where the R/P stated she parked the vehicle. The vehicle is then seen exiting the parking lot at 4:26pm. No suspect description. Status From: 03/09/2022 29000 Lancaster Dr. S - Stolen R/P came into the front desk to report that his 4:00am (Apartments) Manufacturer 2011 Blue Chrysler 300 with North Carolina CHRYSLER To: 03/10/2022 Model License Plate was stolen between 03/09/2022 300 4:00am Color 4:00am- 03/10/2022 4:00am. The vehicle was BLU - Blue Vehicle Year parked at victim’s apartment complex in the 2011 Body Style State 29000 Block of Lancaster. NC No suspect information. License Year 2022 On 03/13/2022 the vehicle was recovered by a Description 2011 CHRYSLER 300 neighboring jurisdiction. Damages include front driver side damage and rear passenger side window was broken out. There were no arrests made.
Status 03/13/2022 27000 Northwestern Hwy RS – Recovered Stolen Officer was on routine patrol in the 27000 Block 4:24am (Hotel) Manufacturer of Northwestern Highway (Hotel) when he LEXUS Model located a reported stolen vehicle. LS Color The vehicle was a Black Lexus LS. Confirmed Vehicle Year 2013 stolen out of neighboring agency. The vehicle Body Style State MI was impounded and the reporting agency was Description notified of the recovery. No suspect information. Black 2013 Lexus Status 03/12/2022 27000 Greenfield Rd. RS – Recovered Stolen Southfield Officers were dispatched to the area 4:44pm (Parking Lot) Manufacturer of 11 Mile /Greenfield for two White Chrysler CHRYSLER Model 300’s doing "donuts" in the parking lot. 300C (Recovered Stolen/ Vehicle Year Upon arrival, Officers observed two White 2011 Fleeing & Eluding) Body Style State Chrysler 300s in the driveway, exiting onto 11 MI Description Mile Rd. As they exited the parking lot, Officers WHITE CHRYSLER observed one with a Michigan plate and one 300 C with a Georgia plate. Status S – Suspect Vehicle Officer activated the emergency lights and siren Manufacturer CHRYSLER in his fully marked police vehicle. The vehicle fled Model from Officers at a high rate of speed. Officers 300 Color terminated the pursuit. The vehicle was last WHI - White Vehicle Year believed to be getting onto w/b 696 from 2014 Body Style Southfield Rd. The vehicle was later located by 4D - 4 Door another Officer at 11 Mile Rd. and Eldorado Place State Georgia Plate in Lathrup Village. A witness that observed the two suspect vehicles doing donuts advises that he was sitting in the parking lot when he observed two Chrysler 300s pull into the lot. One of the vehicles parked and began to watch the other one doing "donuts" in the lot and almost struck multiple vehicles. The vehicle that was parked had an unknown driver and a younger black female in the passenger seat. The vehicle doing "donuts" had a ton of damage, no door handles, and a younger black male, shirtless, hanging out the vehicle while driving. Tips: ❖ Never leave your vehicle running unattended ❖ Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible ❖ Use commercially available security devices

Status From: 03/07/2022 19000 W Twelve Mile S - Stolen Victim states she was at 19855 W. Twelve Mile 4:30pm (Shopping Plaza) Description Rd. (Grocery Store) on 03/07/2022 from approx. Wallet containing: To: 03/07/2022 Medical insurance card. 4:30pm to 5:30pm. Victim believes someone 5:30pm Several Credit & Debit Cards, unzipped her purse, reached into it, and removed Vehicle Registration and Insurance Cards. Membership her wallet while she was shopping. Victim did say Cards for various Stores that its possible her wallet could have been taken Driver's License. while she was at work in Detroit. Cherokee. She believes it was taken while 5:46pm shopping at store in the 28000 Block of Telegraph Rd. on 03/08/2021 at 5:46pm. No suspect information.
Status 03/08/2022 27000 Block of S - Stolen Victim, 90- year old female came into the front 10:33am Lahser Rd. Description Diamond Ring desk to report that someone had stolen her (Apartments for Senior diamond ring. Victim states on 03/04/2022 she Living) left her residence at 12:20pm and returned at 2:00pm. She found her diamond ring was taken from the top drawer of her dresser while she was out. Victim states the ring was in the dresser before she left. There were no signs of forced entry. The only persons that have access to her apartment are staff. Unknown who was working that day? Sometime To: 03/08/2022 between 03/07/2022 6:00pm and the following 8:00am morning at 8:00am someone entered her vehicle and stole her handgun which was left in the vehicle. Clothing & 10 Pairs of Nike, Air Jordan, and Gucci Shoes Sometime between 03/08/2022 9:00pm and the were taken from 2014 Dodge following morning at 7:00am someone broke out Durango. the rear passenger window and stole several items of clothing and shoes. No suspect information.
Status 03/07/2022 27000 Lexington Pkwy. S - Stolen Victim states he and his boyfriend were renting 6:30pm Description HP Printer, Cell Phone, Wallet, residence at 27000 Lexington. They had to be out Dell Desk Top, & Comcast next week. Modem were taken. While cleaning out the residence his boyfriend accused him of throwing away some of his prescriptions When he denied the accusations his boyfriend punched him in the face numerous times causing injury. Victim drove himself to the police station and reported incident. Victim was treated and transported to hospital for further treatment of his injuries. Suspect has been identified and investigation is on-going. Status 03/10/2022 28000 Aberdeen St. S - Stolen Officers were dispatched to the 28000 Block of 4:44pm Manufacturer MICROSOFT Aberdeen St. regarding a family trouble where an Description adult son was refusing to leave. (Domestic Assault XBOX 1 Officers arrived on scene and the adult son had & Larceny) already left. Info from the R/P (Mother) her son came into the house w/o permission through an unlocked front door. He went into the back bedroom where his son was located. R/P told her son to leave several times. He stated he wasn’t going anywhere and assaulted his mother. He then grabbed his son and left the residence. R/P noticed that her son had taken The Xbox 1 that she had bought for her Grandson to use while staying with her. The grandson has been living with her since November 21, 2021. Investigation is on-going.
Status 03/08/2022 28000 Northwestern S - Stolen Victim was staying in the 28000 Block of 11:00pm (Hotel) Description Northwestern (Hotel). On 03/08/2022 at approx. -Wallet Containing: Driver’s License, 4- Credit Cards 11:00pm she was on the elevator. She exited the and Cash. elevator and walked to her car. When she got to -Apple iPhone and a Cool Pad Cell Phone her car she realized her wallet was gone. Unknown suspect description but thinks someone stole it while she was on the elevator. Status 03/11/2022 26000 Berg Rd. S - Stolen Officers were dispatched to the 26000 Block of 4:33am (Apartments) Description Berg Rd. (Apartments) to investigate possible LFA Misc. Clothing Items Stolen from Dodge Durango: or Attempt UDAA. Coat, Boots, Yeezy Foam Officers arrived on scene and observed a White Runners, Gucci Hoodie were taken. Dodge Durango with its alarm activated. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle had been ransacked. The owner was located and she advised that clothing and shoes were missing from the vehicle. The owner also advised that the vehicle had been stolen previously and recovered. No suspect information.

S - Stolen Campus Police advised that on 03/11/2022 at 6:35am (College Campus) Description approx. 6:35am a White Toyota Rav with an out 3- Sections of Copper Piping W/ To: 03/11/2022 Back Flow Valve for Sprinklers of state plate pulled into the campus parking lot 6:50am was cut off and taken. from the Northwestern entrance. Campus Surveillance Video shows the vehicle was driven by a black male. At 6:38am the male was observed going to three different locations and cut through the copper piping that connects to the sprinkler system. While at the Boiler Room building, the male was confronted by a campus painter. The male told the painter that he was removing and replacing the copper pipes and valves. The male left the property at 6:50am.
Status 03/12/2022 27000 Franklin Rd. S - Stolen On 03/12/2022 victim came into the front desk 6:01pm (Apartments) Description to report Larceny & MDOP Nintendo Gaming System, 2 Controllers and Stand, R/P stated earlier today, a Domestic A&B -Unframed 20"X20" Canvass occurred between her and her child's father in Painting, the city of Detroit. She advised she will be making DPD for that report but states her child's father followed her back to her residence in Southfield and damaged her vehicle. The victim resides in the 27000 block of Franklin Rd. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician responded to the station and took photographs of the damages to her 2009 Chevrolet HHR. Note: (Threats to Kill) After R/P left her Southfield residence, her ex-boyfriend (suspect) began to call and text her threatening to kill her and asked her if she had seen her apartment yet? Officers escorted victim back to her residence. While Officers were still present the suspect posted more threats on Social Media. When Officers arrived at R/P’s apartment R/P advised that the following items were missing and things were damaged within the apartment. A TV and a Nintendo stand with controllers was missing from the apartment and several personal items of R/P’s were thrown in the toilet. Suspect has been identified and Incident is under further investigation.

S - Stolen R/P advises that he is staying at the hotel with his 12:00pm (Hotel) Description children and his mother because their home was Play Station 5, 15 Games, 2 To: 03/11/2022 Controllers, Headphones contaminated by fireplace soot. 3:00pm The family came to the hotel on Monday March 7th with luggage and belongings. The family did not stay at the hotel however, they stayed at home until coming back to the hotel on Friday March 11th. When the family returned R/P discovered that his PlayStation 5, two controllers, 1 pair of headphones, and 15 games were stolen. Entry into the hotel room appears to be do to faulty door hinges? No suspect information. Status From: 03/12/2022 23000 Plumbrooke Dr. S - Stolen R/P states that on 03/12/2022 at 4:00pm she had 4:00pm Description Undisclosed Amount of Cash was an employee from cable company (B/M, approx. To: 03/12/2022 Taken. 6'-0", medium/ average build) came to work on 5:30pm her wireless services. He was working mostly in the basement by the steps. After the employee left victim discovered that money that she had hidden and secured was missing. No one other than R/P and employee have been in the home since she last saw it. Investigation is on-going. Tips: ❖ Ensure your vehicle is locked always and valuables are out of sight. ❖ Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly ❖ Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked

The suspect grabbed Color BLK - Black the iPad from victim’s hands and ran out of the Vehicle Year store. Victim was unable to identify the driver of the vehicle due to heavy tint on the windows. Be on the Look Out Highlights: Arrests by SPD Officers: Special Attention: School Threat Investigation OWI= Operate While Impaired 03/08/2022 10:02am OUIN= Operate Under Influence Narcotics 24000 Garner St. LFA= Larceny from Auto (Charter School) R&C= Receiving & Concealing Stolen Property Several Officers were sent to the 24000 Block of Gardner DWLS= Driving with Suspended License St. (Charter School) to investigate allegations that a A&B= Assault & Battery student may be in possession of a firearm. The suspect CSC= Criminal Sexual Conduct was not on campus but was later located at his residence CCW/CPL= Carrying Concealed Weapon in another jurisdiction. VCSA= Violation Controlled Substance Act (Private Academy) On 03/08/2022 at 10:17am several Officers and Detectives were dispatched to the 23000 Block of Southfield Rd. (Private Academy) for bomb threats and shooting threats made to multiple students. The principal was requesting a K-9 for a sweep of the building. The school was placed on a lockdown while a Southfield Police K-9 Unit completed a sweep of the school. Nothing was located. Several text messages from an unknown person were collected. Investigation is on-going.
Special Attention: Shooting/ Assault GBH Disorderly Conduct- 1- Arrest 03/09/2022 3:53am 03/08/2022 2:48pm 28000 Northwestern Hwy 24000 Block of Lahser Rd. (Hotel) (High School) On 03/09/2022 at 3:53am, several Officers responded to Officers responded to the north parking lot where a fight the 28000 Block of Northwestern Hwy (Hotel) reference between two students occurred. There were a lot of students, a shooting. The Front Desk Clerk had a guest run into the non-students and parents in the parking lot which caused lobby naked with a gunshot wound to his leg. confusion as to who was involved in the fight. After things were Several Officers arrived on scene. Information was sorted out the two combatants were identified. One of the obtained as to what room victim was in, and he was shot students was arrested for Disorderly Person and the other by a b/m. There was also a female present when the student was TOT his parents. Investigation is on-going by PD and incident occurred. Officers entered this hotel room and the school. found it empty. Southfield Police Detectives were notified and responded. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. After reviewing surveillance video two suspects can be seen fleeing the hotel room in question. The male suspect is heavy set black male, 25-35 years of Possession of Cocaine- 1- Arrest age with long braided hair. He was wearing a dark shirt 03/10/2022 2:31am and dark pants. 26000 Evergreen Rd The female suspect is a medium build, light skinned black (Southfield Jail) female about 25 years old. She had on a light- colored top On 03/10/2022, Officer was dispatched to the station to process and gray leggings. a warrant arrest dropped off by another Agency. During Investigation is on-going. processing Jail Staff recovered a small plastic baggie with suspected cocaine in the arrested subject’s wallet. He made admissions that the substance was cocaine. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician Field Tested the suspected substance and it tested positive for possible presence of cocaine.
Special Attention: Stolen Handguns from Vehicles. If you must leave your handgun in your vehicle it should be kept in a gun lock box that it bolted down in the trunk or the rear section of your vehicle.
