No forced entry. Victim states he left his apartment and locked the 12:48pm (Apartments) front door on 07/20/2021 at approx. 11:00pm. When he returned on 07/21/2021 at approx. 3:00am he found that his front door was unlocked and his wallet and microwave were missing. R/P spoke to the manager at Apartment Complex. She stated there is video footage that the police can review. Victim came into the front desk to report this incident. Video not available at time of report. Investigation is on-going. Automobile Thefts: Date/Time Address (block range) Year, Make, Model Details Status From: 07/19/2021 20000 Knob Woods Dr. SR – Stolen/ Recovered Victim states her 2021 Black Jeep Cherokee was 9:00pm (Apartments) Manufacturer stolen from her carport at her Apartment JEEP To: 07/20/2021 Model Complex sometime between 07/19/2021 9:00pm GRAND CHEROK 7:15am Color and the following morning at 7:15am. BLK - Black Vehicle Year Detectives contacted victim and she advised her 2021 Body Style tracking device indicated her vehicle was at 4D - 4 Door at a location in the City of Detroit. State MI Oakland County Auto Theft Detectives made the License Year 2021 location and recovered the vehicle. It was backed Description 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee up in the driveway of the residence. Victim was Limited, black in color. also out on scene and the vehicle was turned over to her (her key fob still worked). She was advised to have her key fob changed. No suspect information.
Status 07/20/2021 20000 Southfield Rd. RS – Recovered Stolen Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle 1:05am (Multi Office Building) Manufacturer that was parked at location and had a cover on it. DODGE Model Officers located the vehicle and removed the CHARGER (Scat Pack) Color cover. The White Dodge Charger had a dealership Vehicle Year 2017 plate on it. The Charger also had front end Body Style State MI damage and the front right tire was heavily Description damaged. The car was unoccupied. There were White Dodge Charger (Scat Pack) 2017 no keys inside the vehicle. The vehicle was a confirmed stolen out of Dearborn Heights. Officers were unable to locate the plate that is registered to the vehicle. The vehicle was recovered.
Status From: 07/20/2021 18000 Jeanette St. S - Stolen Victim states he parked the vehicle in his 2:30am Manufacturer LINCOLN driveway around 2:30am. Once DPD arrived on scene Officers checked the last known location where the phone last pinged. Status 07/19/2021 25000 Evergreen Rd. SR - Both Stolen and Victim states he parked in the fire lane in the 5:53pm (Commercial- Liquor Store) Recovered 25000 Block of Evergreen Rd. in front of Liquor Manufacturer DODGE Store. He left his vehicle running, unlocked with Model DURANGO the keys inside the vehicle. Victim went inside Color WHI - White Liquor Store for approx. 5 minutes when he said Vehicle Year an employee of the liquor store notified him his 2019 Body Style vehicle was stolen. SW - Station Wagon State Victim had two handguns in the vehicle when it MI was stolen. No suspect information. Status 07/23/2021 28000 Telegraph Rd. S - Stolen On 07/23/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 5:19pm (Shopping Center) Manufacturer 28000 Block of Telegraph Rd. (Shopping Center) Pontiac Model for a stolen vehicle. G8 Color Victim (owner of vehicle) states he was in the BLK - Black Vehicle Year parking lot to meet with a guy to sell his Black 2008 Body Style Pontiac G8. R/P met the suspect through 4D - 4 Door Facebook Market Place. Victim met with suspect State MI and another unidentified black male in the License Year 2021 parking lot. Victim agreed to let suspect take the Description Black Pontiac G8 With vehicle for a test drive. Victim went along Silver Trim. with suspect and the other unknown male on the test drive. When the test drive was done, victim got out of the vehicle and the suspect and the other male drove off in the vehicle. Neither male said anything or pulled any weapons on victim once he got out of the vehicle. Victim briefly chased the vehicle in the parking lot on foot, but could not keep up with the vehicle. The vehicle went north on Telegraph, made a U-turn and went south on Telegraph, possibly to M-10. The title and registration were in the vehicle. The incident was captured on surveillance video from nearby business. There appears to be a third and fourth suspect involved that dropped suspects off. They were driving a later model Jeep. They were parked and seen moving around in the parking lot during the incident. They left the parking lot after the vehicle was taken. No further description on the vehicle or the other suspects.
Suspect Descriptions: (Took the vehicle) Victim described the driver as a dark skinned black male with short braided hair, clean shaven, wearing a dark gray sweatshirt, boxers, black jeans and gray Crocs. Citizens should never allow the buyer and a second unknown person to take the vehicle for a test drive while you are by yourself in the back seat. Citizens should meet with buyer at a local Police Station and if the person wants to take your vehicle for a test drive get the persons driver’s license and have the desk officer at the Police Department check the driver’s license and make a copy of it. Status From: 07/22/2021 16000 North Park Dr. S - Stolen R/P came into the front desk to report the theft 8:00pm (Apartments) Manufacturer of his motorcycle. R/P states he parked his 2008 HARLEY DAVIDSON To: 07/23/2021 Model Black FLHT Harley Davidson in the 16000 Block of FLHT 7:00am Color North Park (Apartments) in the parking lot on BLK - Black Vehicle Year 07/22/2021 at 8:00pm. 2008 Body Style State The following morning at 9:00am he looked MI outside and saw that someone had stolen his Description 2008 Harley Davidson, motorcycle. No suspect information. Electric Glide, Black in Color. Status 07/25/2021 16000 North Park Dr. S - Stolen Officer was dispatched to the 16000 Block of 4:53pm (Apartments) Manufacturer JEEP North Park Dr. (Apartments) for a Stolen Vehicle Model Report. R/P had his Black Jeep Track Hawk stolen GRAND CHER Color within the last hour. BLK - Black Vehicle Year R/P advised he arrived at his friend's apartment 2018 Body Style for a visit on 07/25/2021 at 1:30pm. R/P was 4D - 4 Door leaving at 4:50pm when he discovered that State MI someone had stolen his vehicle. License Year 2021 No suspect information. Status From: 07/22/2021 17000 Addison St. S - Stolen Victim states he parked his 2019 Dodge Ram P.U. 10:45pm Manufacturer RAM In the 17000 Block of Addison. To: 07/23/2021 Model Sometime on 07/22/2021 10:45pm and the 1500 7:00am Color following morning at 7:00am someone stole the BLK - Black Vehicle Year vehicle. No suspect information. 2019 Body Style State MI Description 2019 Dodge Ram, Black in Color. Tips: ❖ Never leave your vehicle running unattended ❖ Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible ❖ Use commercially available security devices

R/P believes 12:00pm the Michigan License Plate that was on the vehicle was taken from the vehicle sometime between 07/19/2021 12:00pm- 07/20/2021 12:00pm. No suspect information. Status From: 07/21/2021 19000 W Twelve Mile S - Stolen Victim states on 07/21/2021 at approx. 2:50pm 2:50pm (Commercial- Groceries) Description she was shopping in the 19000 Block of W. Red wallet To: 07/21/2021 Notes Twelve Mile Rd. (Grocery Store). Status 07/22/2021 25000 W Ten Mile Rd. S - Stolen Officer Hayes was in the 25000 Block of W. Ten 4:33pm (Multi Office Complex) Description Mile Rd. taking a UDAA Report when he noticed a 2- Pr. of Shoes, Vacuum Cleaner. vehicle that appeared to be ran-sacked and a window was broken out parked in the parking lot. Contact was made with the registered owner who advised that the window wasn’t broken out when he parked the vehicle and items were taken from the vehicle. No suspect information. Status From: 07/19/2021 26000 Standford Dr. E S - Stolen R/P states on Monday 07/19/2021 around 3:00am (Town Homes) Description 3:00am he arrived home from a wedding. Handgun To: 07/19/2021 He left his handgun in his vehicle and left it 2:00pm unlocked. His handgun was taken from the glove compartment. Later that day around 2:00pm he discovered his handgun stolen. The first three places that criminals will look is the glove box, center console and under the front seat. If you must leave your handgun in your vehicle try to find a spot where it would be difficult to find. Sometime Dodge To: 07/23/2021 Model between 07/22/2021 4:30pm and the following Ram 9:00am Serial No. License No. Color morning at 9:07am someone broke out window BLK - Black Description on the vehicle and stole All Four Wheels & Tires. Stolen Wheels & Tires No suspect information. Status From: 07/24/2021 22000 Greenfield Rd. S - Stolen R/P states on 07/24/2021 at approx. 7:30pm he 7:30pm (Commercial- Party Shop) Description parked and locked his 2014 Dodge Journey Michigan License Plate, To: 07/24/2021 Taken from 2014 Dodge Journey. after arriving at his job in the 22000 Block of 11:30pm Greenfield Rd. (Party Shop) R/P left work at 11:30pm and drove straight home. Once he arrived home he realized that his license plate had been stolen. No suspect information. Tips: ❖ Ensure your vehicle is locked always and valuables are out of sight. ❖ Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly ❖ Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked
Armed Robbery: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details 07/23/2021 23000 Greenfield Rd. Unknown if anything was On 7/23/2021 Officers were patrolling the area 1:11pm (Multi Office Building) taken. of Greenfield & Providence Dr. when Officers were flagged down by multiple citizens stating there were people behind the 23000 Block of Greenfield Rd. (Office Building) shooting at each other. According to multiple citizens, a white sedan was involved. This information was put out over the radio to other Officers. Officers arrived in the area. They located a witness that stated he heard gunshots coming from the parking lot. He looked out his window and saw multiple black males running in different directions. He stated some of the subjects entered a White SUV, possibly a Lincoln Aviator, that fled the scene in an unknown direction. He also saw what he thought was a White Cadillac CTS, that he believes was associated with the shooting. He stated he witnessed a black male "limping" as he was running to the White Cadillac CTS. He entered the CTS which fled E/B Nine Mile, then S/B Greenfield. The White Cadillac CTS appeared to have accident damage on the driver side of the front bumper. Several spent shell casings were recovered in the parking lot. Two vehicles unrelated to incident were damaged and two bullets struck the
building and entered one of the suites. Nobody was injured. Hospitals were checked, no shooting victims were located. Investigation is on-going. Be on the Look Out Highlights: Arrests by SPD Officers: Special Attention: Threat to Burn/ OWI= Operate While Impaired Mental Health Commitment OUIN= Operate Under Influence Narcotics 07/23/2021 12:20pm LFA= Larceny from Auto 21000 Block of Evergreen Rd. R&C= Receiving & Concealing Stolen Property Officers were dispatched to the 21000 Block of DWLS= Driving with Suspended License Evergreen Rd. for a possible Arson. R/P advises A&B= Assault & Battery suspect was threatening to burn down his mother’s CSC= Criminal Sexual Conduct house, which he has tried before. Suspect had walked CCW/CPL= Carrying Concealed Weapon to the gas station filled up a can with gas and was NOLOP= No Operator License on Person walking back to his house. R/A= Robbery Armed Officers arrived on scene and observed suspect RNA= Robbery Not Armed standing at the south side door of the residence. PWID= Possession with Intent to Deliver On the ground, next to him was a gas can that PPO= Personal Protection Order appeared to be empty. The suspect was given PBT= Preliminary Breath Test commands to walk out to Officers, which he R/P= Reporting Party complied. Suspect was visibly wet, and had a strong VCSA= Violation Controlled Substance Act odor of gas coming from him. Officers completed their investigation and a decision was made for the safety of everyone to take the suspect into Protected Custody. He was transported to a local hospital where Officers completed a Petition for Evaluation.

F/A Motor Vehicle/ Road Rage- 1- Arrest 07/22/2021 1:12pm Telegraph Rd. & W Ten Mile Rd. The drivers of two vehicles were involved in a road rage incident where one of the drivers and a passenger threw an object at the other vehicle. When the two vehicles were stopped at red light Both occupants, male & female got out of the vehicle and began to striking victims car with their hands.
