Commercial Burglaries: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 04/27/2021 17000 W Ten Mile Rd. Rear door was On 04/27/2021, Southfield Police Officers were 2:10pm (Commercial- Health Care) kicked in. dispatched to the 17000 Block of W. Ten Mile Rd. (Health Care Business) for a breaking and entering in progress. Unknown B/M had arrived in a Black Durango and had entered by forcing entry through the back door of business. Officers arrived on scene and the suspect had already left. Officers contacted female employee R/P. R/P states the suspect is a known patient. He originally showed up and asked to see the doctor. He was told he had to make an appointment. The subject left but returned shortly thereafter and forced entry through the rear door to business. The suspect made some type of threats that he wanted to hurt the doctor. The R/P stopped the suspect from entering the business any further than a couple steps. The suspect then left the business. Several employee’s inside the business then heard what they thought was one gunshot. Officers canvassed and processed the area and didn’t locate any evidence of a gunshot. The suspect has been identified and the Incident is under investigation. Home Invasion: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 04/29/2021 28000 Franklin River Dr. Attempt with R/P advises she heard someone at her door and when 5:32am (Apartments) some type of tool she looked she observed a flat tool being shoved on the apartment through the door frame. R/P scared the suspect away door. before he made entry. The suspect was described as a B/M, light skinned, slim build, black dreads to his neck, early 20s wearing a black t-shirt. R/P did not recognize the suspect as someone that lives there.
04/26/2021 20000 Camden Sq. Entry through an Officers were dispatched to the 20000 Block of 7:40am (Apartments) unlocked window. Camden Sq. regarding a Domestic Incident. The R/P stated her ex-boyfriend rang her door bell several times. She ignored him. The ex-boyfriend then opened and climbed through an unlocked window, to get in to her apartment. R/P confronted her ex- boyfriend in the hallway. He hit her three times in the face and threw a cup of coffee at her. R/P’s new boyfriend was in the apartment when this occurred. There was no contact between the ex-boyfriend and the new boyfriend. The ex-boyfriend has never lived at R/P’s residence and he didn’t have permission to enter her apartment. The suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.
04/28/2021 27000 Greenfield Rd. Apartment door R/P advises on 04/28/2021 at 6:30pm she received a 6:30pm (Apartments) was kicked in. call from her daughter stating that someone had just kicked their apartment door in. R/P’s daughter heard a loud crash and when she went to investigate. She found the door damaged and nobody was around? R/P was at work and didn’t get home until 10:00pm. She discovered that the door to her apartment had been forced open. There was nothing taken and it doesn’t appear that entry was made. Automobile Thefts: Date/Time Address (block range) Year, Make, Model Details Status 04/29/2021 24000 Telegraph Rd. SR - Both Stolen and On March 31, 2021 suspect rented a 2020 Jeep 2:46pm (Commercial- Leasing) Recovered Cherokee from Leasing Company in Southfield. Manufacturer Jeep The Jeep was due back on April 7th. Letters were Model Cherokee sent to suspect to return the vehicle. The vehicle Color BLK - Black was past due and entered as a stolen vehicle. Vehicle Year On 04/30/2021 LEIN message was received from 2020 Body Style Roseville PD notifying us of the recovery. 4D - 4 Door State The 2020 Jeep Cherokee was recovered on Indiana 04/30/2021 at approx. 8:42am at the Leasing License Year 2021 Company located in Roseville. Description Black Jeep Cherokee The suspect that rented the vehicle has been Recovered Date/Time 04/30/2021 8:42am identified and incident is under investigation.
Status 04/28/2021 28000 Telegraph Rd. S - Stolen Victim states he parked his 1975 Hurst 6:36pm (Fast Food) Manufacturer Oldsmobile W-25, Black w/ gold pin stripes and OLDSMOBILE Model gold wheels next to the Restaurant in the 28000 Hurst W25 Color Block of Telegraph Rd. BLK - Black Vehicle Year Victim left the keys in the vehicle and went into 1975 Body Style the restaurant. When victim returned to where 2D - 2 Door he parked his vehicle it was gone. State MI Surveillance Video shows unknown suspect License Year 2019 driving away with the vehicle at 5:29pm on Description 1975 Hurst Olds 04/28/2021. Status 04/29/2021 26000 Telegraph Rd. RS – Recovered Stolen On 04/29/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 8:30am (Hotel) Manufacturer 26000 Block of Telegraph Rd. for a possible International Model stolen truck that was parked in the lot. Dispatch Durastar Color advised Officers they had a 26 ft. Penske Box YEL - Yellow Vehicle Year Truck (2019 International Durastar that was 2019 Body Style tracking and was believed to be stationary at this TK - Truck location for about an hour. State VA Officers responded and located the vehicle in License Year 2021 question. The vehicle was unoccupied. Description Yellow 26ft Penske Box The vehicle was confirmed stolen out of Truck Springfield, Mo. and recovered. Springfield PD Disposition Recovered was notified of the recovery. No suspect info. Status 04/30/2021 24000 Pierce St. S - Stolen Victim parked his 2019 Maroon Dodge Charger, 7:25am Manufacturer DODGE in his driveway on 04/29/2021 at 6:30pm. Model Victim returned to his vehicle the following CHARGER Color morning at 7:00am and found broken glass MAR - Maroon or where his vehicle was parked. Appears that the Burgundy driver’s side rear window was broken out when Vehicle Year 2019 the vehicle was taken. No suspect information. Body Style State MI Description 2019 Dodge Charger
Status 05/01/2021 27000 Northwestern Hwy S - Stolen On 05/01/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 3:32am (Hotel) Manufacturer Hotel in the 27000 Block of Northwestern CHEVROLET Model Highway for a possible Domestic/UDAA. MALIBU Color Officers arrived at the Hotel and contacted the WHI - White Vehicle Year victim. R/P advises she was staying at the hotel 2012 Body Style State with her uncle after a family dispute occurred MI earlier in the day in Allen Park. License Year Description At some point during the stay R/P’s uncle advised White 2012 Chevrolet Malibu he wanted to take R/P’s vehicle to go back to Allen Park. R/P stated no and at no time did she say it was ok to take her vehicle. R/P advises her uncle physically assaulted her, forcefully took her keys and left with her 2012 White Malibu. The vehicle has since been recovered by R/P but she still wants to prosecute. Southfield PD Detective conducted follow up investigation and submitted complaint to OCPO. Warrant was issued for A&B/ UDAA. Tips: ❖ Never leave your vehicle running unattended ❖ Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible ❖ Use commercially available security devices
Larceny: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details Status From: 04/27/2021 29000 Laurel Woods S - Stolen Victim states her 2020 Ford Fusion Titanium was 8:00pm (Apartments) Description parked in her carport at her Apartment Complex. All Four Wheels & Tires were To: 04/28/2021 taken from 2020 Ford Fusion (29000 Block of Laurel Woods) 8:00am Titanium. Sometime between 04/27/2021 8:00pm and the following morning at 8:00am someone stole All Four Wheels & Tires from her vehicle. The driver’s side rear window was broken out. No suspect information. Status 04/27/2021 23000 Providence Dr. S - Stolen R/P stated on 04/27/2021 at approx. 10:37am he 10:37am (Apartments) Manufacturer received a notification from Fed-Ex that his Tiffany & Company Description package had been delivered. R/P advised he was Box Containing Necklace and Bracelet from Tiffany. home all day and he never received a package. R/P contacted Fed-Ex and he was advised the package was signed for by a subject and gave R/P the person’s name. R/P doesn’t know who the person is?
Status From: 04/28/2021 25000 Champlaign S - Stolen Victim states on 04/28/2021 sometime between 11:30am (Condo’s) Description 11:30am- 12:20pm two men from Furniture Driver’s License, 2- Credit Cards, To: 04/28/2021 Medicare Card, Blue Cross Blue Store where she bought furniture stole her 12:20pm Shield Insurance Card were deceased husbands Driver’s License and several taken. Credit Cards. Information: There were two men that delivered the furniture from the business and set it up. One of the males asked R/P if she had a phone >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> charger that he could borrow. Citizens that have workers in R/P went to get a charger. Collar length black curly hair, wearing dark blue shorts and a dark colored T-shirt. Suspect 2: B/M, approximately 5'8, average build. Late 20's to early 30's. Collar length braided hair, wearing brown or gray pants and dark colored T-shirt.
Status 04/26/2021 28000 Commons Dr. S - Stolen R/P states that she had received a text message 5:39pm (Apartments) Description on 04/26/2021 at 5:39pm from Fed-Ex that her Nike Air Vapor Max Plus Triple Black Shoes package was delivered. R/P was at work so she had her boyfriend respond to pick up her package. At 6:00pm her boyfriend discovered that there was no package at her apartment. No suspect information. Status 04/29/2021 28000 Northwestern S - Stolen R/P states sometime between 04/28/2021 8:43am (Hotel) Description 8:00pm and the following morning on All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2020 Ford Fusion. 04/29/2021 8:00am someone stole All Four Wheels and Tires from her rental vehicle, a 2020 Ford Fusion. The vehicle was parked at Hotel in the 28000 Block of Northwestern. There is no suspect information. Status 04/30/2021 19000 Melrose Ave. S - Stolen Victim states while she was out of town from 5:06PM Description 2- Exterior Home Cameras 04/24/2021- 04/26/2021 someone stole two exterior surveillance cameras from his residence. (19000 Block of Melrose) There is no surveillance footage of the incident. No suspect information.
Status 05/01/2021 25000 Southfield Rd. S - Stolen Victim states she was leaving a party at the Night 12:00am (Commercial- Night Club) Description Club Lounge in the 25000 Block of Southfield Rd. Cross Body Bag containing Cash, Debit Card, Credit Card & when a female that was known to her and I-Phone. several of her female friends jumped her and assaulted her. Victim states she was hit and kicked several times including in her face by the females. During the assault, the one known female and another unknown female took her crossbody handbag containing her white iPhone 11, Debit Card, Credit Card, and Cash. Victim believes the incident occurred because the one known female thinks she has something going on with her ex-boyfriend who was at the party. Investigation is on-going. Tips: ❖ Ensure your vehicle is locked always and valuables are out of sight. ❖ Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly ❖ Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked
Armed Robbery: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details Status 05/01/2021 23000 Riverside Dr. S - Stolen On 05/01/2021 several Officers were dispatched 12:33am (Apartments) Manufacturer to Apartment Complex in the 23000 Block of JEEP Model Riverside Drive, regarding a carjacking which had COMPASS (Car Jacking!) Color just occurred. Dispatch advised that the R/P had WHI - White Vehicle Year just been carjacked by two unknown men. The 2020 Body Style suspects took the White Jeep Compass that she 4D - 4 Door and her male friend were sitting in. One of the State MI suspects had brandished a handgun during this License Year 2021 incident. Notes Rental Vehicle Officers arrived on scene and spoke to the two >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> victims. The male stated he was sitting in the Status S - Stolen driver’s seat of vehicle with his female friend. Description Black Android Cell Phone & The vehicle was backed into the driveway at Black iPhone 11 (Purple & Pink residence in the 23000 Block of Riverside Dr. Otter Box) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Two Unknown B/M’s approached them, one brandishing a handgun. Male victim states he attempted to start the vehicle and leave but the vehicle stalled out. Victims exited the vehicle and the suspects jumped into the vehicle and took off. Female victims phone was in the vehicle when it was taken. The male victims cell phone and wallet were in the car when it was taken. The female victim tracked her phone to a residence in Detroit. Officers checked this area for the victim’s vehicle and victims cell phone with negative results. The vehicle that was taken was a rental vehicle that was rented by a third party approx. a month
ago. A Southfield Detective contacted the third party that rented the vehicle. She was not present during the Robbery and knows nothing about it. She did state that the male victim had permission to be driving the vehicle. Note: When Detectives contacted the male victim to question him further he was very defensive, did not want to speak to Detectives or answer any questions. He ended the phone call w/o warning and hung up? Suspect Descriptions: 2- black males, younger, wearing dark clothing, one of which brandished a black handgun.
Status 05/01/2021 25000 W Twelve Mile S - Stolen Victim advises after walking from her vehicle to 12:24pm (Apartments) Description Undisclosed amount of Cash from her apartment in the 25000 Block of 12 Mile Rd. ATM & victims Cell Phone were she was confronted and forced into her (Kidnapping Also) taken. apartment by an unknown male. (Victim also had her 4- month old child with her.) The suspect was armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded money because her boyfriend owed him money. The suspect made victim drive to a nearby ATM machine to take money out for him. He was holding onto victims 4- month old while she went to ATM and took out the money. The suspect stated during this incident that it had nothing to do with her (victim) it was about her boyfriend owing him money. He even gave the victim $20.00 for gas before he fled on foot. Southfield Detectives contacted the victim’s boyfriend and questioned him about what was going on and who was the suspect. He was uncooperative and did not provide any information about the suspect or what the circumstances may be regarding this incident. Investigation is on-going. LFA= Larceny from Auto (City of Southfield Recreational Facility) R&C= Receiving & Concealing Stolen Property Officer was dispatched to the Beech Woods DWLS= Driving with Suspended License Recreation Center on an MDOP of a window. A&B= Assault & Battery A large (6 feet by 3 feet) window on the west side of CSC= Criminal Sexual Conduct the building facing Beech Rd. was broken out. CCW/CPL= Carrying Concealed Weapon It is unknown how the window was broken. NOLOP= No Operator License on Person No suspect information. R/A= Robbery Armed RNA= Robbery Not Armed PWID= Possession with Intent to Deliver PPO= Personal Protection Order PBT= Preliminary Breath Test Special Attention: Larceny of Air Bags: R/P= Reporting Party Be on the Lookout! VCSA= Violation Controlled Substance Act Recently there have been a rash of stolen Airbags. Thieves are stealing airbags including the entire steering wheel. The thieves have been targeting Chevrolet Equinox & Chevrolet Malibu models. This is mostly due to a shortage of supplies from the automaker.
MDOP/ Mental Health Commitment Reckless Driving/ CCW/ VCSA- 1- Arrest 04/29/2021 10:50pm 04/27/2021 1:52pm 18000 Block of W Nine Mile Rd. M-10 & Telegraph Rd. The vehicle was slow to stop but eventually stopped. Contact was made with the driver. Officers recovered a plastic baggie with suspected Ecstasy Pills, some marijuana and a Taser. The driver was taken into custody for VCSA/ Reckless Driving & CCW. There was also a large sum of cash recovered from the suspect. He did not have a CPL.

A male that had been advised on Trespassing on several prior occasions was at the location. He refused to leave or provide Officers with his name. The male was arrested and lodged for Trespassing.
