No forced entry. R/P states she had cash stolen out of her apartment 8:00am (Apartments) Possibly a key was sometime after 8:00am, while she was at the doctor's To: 02/01/2021 used. office. There were no signs of forced entry into the 10:30am apartment. R/P stated that she kept the cash hidden in her apartment. Nothing else was missing from the apartment. R/P states she has called the police numerous times because people have been entering her apartment. No suspect information. Automobile Thefts: Date/Time Address (block range) Year, Make, Model Details Status 02/01/2021 29000 Pointe O Woods Pl S - Stolen Victim states her 2019 White Jeep Grand 7:24pm (Apartments) Manufacturer Cherokee was parked at her Apartment Complex JEEP Model in the 29000 Block of Pointe O Woods Pl. GRAND CHEROK Color Sometime on 02/02/2021 between 4:00pm- WHI - White Vehicle Year 7:30pm someone stole her vehicle. 2019 Body Style State No suspect information. MI Description White 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Status 02/01/2021 28000 Telegraph Rd. S - Stolen Manager for Car Dealership states that the 2:53pm (Commercial Car Dealership) Manufacturer vehicle was last seen on November 6, 2020 when Honda Model it was checked into inventory. Odyssey Color No one has seen the vehicle since it was checked RED - Red Vehicle Year in and both keys are missing. The vehicle is a 2021 Body Style 2021 Red Honda Odyssey. No plate on the VN - Van or Panel vehicle. No suspect information. Description Honda Odyssey
Status 02/03/2021 17000 Alta Vista Dr. S - Stolen Victim states he parked his 2019 Green Dodge 12:10pm Manufacturer DODGE Charger Scat Pack in his driveway in the 17000 Model Block of Alta Vista. Sometime between CHARGER Color 02/02/2021 10:45pm- and the following morning DGR - Dark Green at 11:45am someone stole his vehicle. Vehicle Year No suspect information. 2019 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI License Year 2021 Description 4D GREEN DODGE CHARGER SCAT PACK 392 Tips: ❖ Never leave your vehicle running unattended ❖ Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible ❖ Use commercially available security devices
Larceny: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details 02/01/2021 28000 Franklin Rd. Copper wire was taken & Several Officers responded to the 28000 Block of 9:10am (Vacant Building, Former recovered. Franklin Rd, (Former Ramada Inn/ Vacant Ramada Inn Hotel) Building) for a report of a Larceny of Copper Wire (B&E Vacant in progress. Building Also.) R/P, Security Guard observed 2 W/M's on the roof throwing down copper wiring. R/P was across the street watching this take place with his binoculars and gave the description of 2 W/M's wearing all black. R/P has seen the suspects before on the property but he could never catch them. Officers arrived on scene and observed two suspects on the roof throwing copper wire down to the ground near a dumpster. The suspects were dressed in all black. One of the subjects appeared to be carrying some sort of black wiring around his neck. Officers set up a perimeter around the building while waiting for additional Officers to arrive. Officers located a door on the south side of the building which appeared to be pried open. There were fresh foot prints in the snow that lead to the door. A Southfield Police K-9 Unit and other Officers made entry into the building and made their way to the 12th floor of the building to access the roof where the suspects were last seen. Officers
observed fresh footprints in the snow leading to the furnace room. Both suspects were located hiding in this room. They were ordered out and they complied. Both suspects were taken into custody for B&E Vacant Building and Larceny from Building. Status From: 02/02/2021 20000 Greenfield Rd. S - Stolen R/P states he parked his vehicle in a Handicap 3:00pm (Medical Building) Description Parking Spot in the parking lot in the 20000 Block Handicap Placard Stolen from To: 02/02/2021 2009 Subaru Forester. of Greenfield Rd. Sometime between 3:00pm- 6:00pm 6:00pm someone broke out window on his vehicle and stole his Handicap Placard. No suspect information. 02/03/2021 20000 Westland Dr. 2- Vehicles were opened and R/P states during unknown time frame, someone ransacked. 2005 Honda Accord 6:48pm & 2008 Grand Caravan. opened and went through his two vehicles parked at his residence. The vehicles were ransacked but nothing was taken. No suspect information.
02/03/2021 28000 Telegraph Rd. Victims groceries were Victim states after grocery shopping at business 1:57am (Household Goods & taken by the Uber driver. in the 28000 Block of Telegraph Rd. she ordered Groceries) an Uber Driver. R/P is wheelchair bound and must rely on transportation services to get around. An Uber driver picked her up from business and she loaded her groceries into his vehicle. They drove to a Gas Station in the 28000 Block of Telegraph Rd. where the R/P got out of the car and went into the convenience store portion of the Gas Station to get some items. The Uber driver then took off with victim’s groceries and left her at the gas station. Officer investigating looked at victim’s phone and investigated her Uber App. The Uber App. showed the driver as an Arabic male approx. 45 years of age, with black hair and a black beard. The name attached to the driver’s profile was revealed. The plate attached to the driver profile was located and Officer identified the registered owner of the vehicle. The registered owners photograph matched the photograph of the male attached to the Uber driver profile. The suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

S - Stolen Victim parked his 2008 Honda Element in the 4:00pm (Apartments) Description parking lot at his Apartment Complex in the Catalytic Converter from 2008 To: 02/03/2021 Honda Element 20000 Block of Lahser Rd. 4:30pm Sometime between 02/02/2021 4:00pm- 02/03/2021 4:30pm someone cut off the catalytic converter from his vehicle. No suspect information. Status 02/04/2021 16000 Northland Dr. S - Stolen R/P states she picked up suspect (friend) from his 5:05pm (Medical Building) Description residence in Detroit and drove to the 16000 An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from victim’s purse that Block of Northland Dr. in Southfield for their was left in her 2018 Ford Escape. rehab. treatment. They arrived at approx. 9:00am and they left the facility at approx. 11:00am. The subject was then seen leaving the treatment facility for about 30 minutes. He was supposed to be getting his treatment at that time. The suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.
Status From: 02/02/2021 24000 Civic Center Dr. S - Stolen Victim states sometime between 02/02/2021 8:00pm (Senior Apartments) Description 8:00pm- 02/03/2021 10:00am someone cut off Catalytic Converter stolen from To: 02/03/2021 2009 Ford Escape the catalytic converter from his 2009 Ford 10:00am Escape. No suspect information. From: 02/01/2021 16000 North Park Dr. Nothing was taken. Victim states sometime between 02/01/2021 1:00pm (Apartments) 1:00pm- 02/04/2021 12:30pm someone broke To: 02/04/2021 out rear window and attempted to break the 12:30pm front passenger window on victims 2019 Ford Edge. Nothing was taken from the vehicle. No suspect information. 02/07/2021 15000 Town Center 31- Vehicles were Officer was on routine patrol when he discovered 4:26am (Hotel Parking Structure) attacked. The interior of numerous vehicles were attacked in the parking the vehicles was all structure adjacent to Hotel in the 15000 Block of ransacked. Town Center. Officer located the suspects on the top deck of the parking structure. They fled from him and were last seen S/B on M-10 at a high rate of speed. Suspect/ Suspect Vehicle Information: Silver 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 with a silver toolbox in the bed. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Southfield on 01/21/2021. Suspect #1: B/M, dark clothing, skull cap and blue mask (driver). Suspect #2: B/M dark clothing, skull cap and mask.
Status 02/07/2021 24000 W Twelve Mile S - Stolen R/P (employee) advises subject came in and 10:02pm (Commercial- Food) Description placed a carry out order. He attempted to pay for Tip Jar containing cash. order with two separate credit cards. Both were declined. The suspect then grabbed the businesses Tip Jar containing cash and fled the store. The suspect was observed getting into a Blue Grand Marquise. Suspect Description: Last Name SUSPECT First Name UNKNOWN DOB (Age) Sex M Race BLACK/AFRICAN AMERICAN Complexion Medium Height 5' 11" Weight 140 Notes Blue Tommy Hilfiger Bubble Jacket, Gray Sweats, White Shoes, Black Hat, Black Mask. Tips: ❖ Ensure your vehicle is locked always and valuables are out of sight. ❖ Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly ❖ Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked
Armed Robbery: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details 02/07/2021 18000 W Twelve Mile Nothing was taken. Officers responded to the 18000 Block of 12 Mile 11:03pm (Apartments) Rd. (Apartments) for a report of shots heard. R/P states about 10 gunshots were heard from the parking lot and there were 3 males outside in that area. The males got into a White SUV and drove towards 12 Mile Rd. Upon arrival Officers located multiple shell casings in the street. The scene was secured and a Southfield Police Evidence Technician responded for processing. Numerous spent shell casings were recovered. Officers located the White SUV and stopped the vehicle. There were three subjects in the vehicle. Female driver and two male passengers. One of the males was armed with a handgun and had a valid CPL. The handgun was confiscated from the subject while Officers investigated further. The female stated her boyfriend and she were leaving the apartment building to get pizza, when two b/m's approached them. The female described both b/m's as wearing all black, black hoodie, black ski masks. One suspect was approx. 5'11, with his ski mask pulled half way down. (Note: These were same subjects seen earlier by the victim’s apartment acting suspicious). Female stated she observed one of the suspects pull out a handgun and aim it at them. Female stated she took cover and then heard several shots go off.
Female observed the suspects get into a black car, poss. BMW that was dirty. Female stated she also observed her boyfriend pull out his handgun and fire back at the suspects. Female stated the suspects were attempting to rob them, but were unable to take anything. There are discrepancies between female and her boyfriend’s statements. The male stated he was by himself and his girlfriend was in her car during the incident? Investigation is on-going. Suspect Descriptions: Suspect# 1: black male, thin build, approximately 5'11" tall, wearing all black clothing, and a black ski mask. Suspect# 2: black male, thin build, approximately 6'0" tall, wearing all black clothing, and a black ski mask. It’s unknown which suspect produced the handgun. Suspect Vehicle: A Black possible BMW. Be on the Look Out Highlights: Arrests by SPD Officers: Special Attention- LFA’s/ Fleeing & Eluding OWI= Operate While Impaired (31 Vehicles were attacked) OUIN= Operate Under Influence Narcotics February 7, 2021 4:26am LFA= Larceny from Auto 15000 Block of Town Center R&C= Receiving & Concealing Stolen Property (Hotel Parking Structure) DWLS= Driving with Suspended License Officer discovered that numerous vehicles had their A&B= Assault & Battery windows broken out and the vehicles were ransacked in CSC= Criminal Sexual Conduct the parking structure in the 50000 Block of Town Center CCW/CPL= Carrying Concealed Weapon adjacent to Hotel. A total of 31 vehicles were attacked. NOLOP= No Operator License on Person Officer was checking the area when he observed a R/A= Robbery Armed suspicious 2012 Silver Dodge Ram Pick Up Truck on the RNA= Robbery Not Armed top level of parking deck of the Hotel. Officer attempted PWID= Possession with Intent to Deliver to stop the vehicle and it fled from him. The vehicle fled PPO= Personal Protection Order S/B on M-10 at a high rate of speed and the pursuit was PBT= Preliminary Breath Test terminated. R/P= Reporting Party Suspect/ Suspect Vehicle Information: VCSA= Violation Controlled Substance Act Silver 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 with a silver toolbox in the bed. Suspect #1: B/M, dark clothing, skull cap and blue mask (driver). Suspect #2: B/M dark clothing, skull cap and mask. Note: The suspect vehicle was stolen out of Southfield on 01/20/2021. The vehicle was left running unattended with the keys in the ignition. No suspect information in original report.

AMERICAN Hair Color Black Hair Style Afro Hair Length Short Build Thin R&O/ Warrant- 1- Arrest Teeth Height 5' 6" - 5' 9" 02/04/2021 2:20am t Attire NIKE JACKET Telegraph & W Nine Mile Officers were sent to location on a suspicious person, R/P’s ex- boyfriend is following her. Upon arrival Officers located the suspect. During the investigation, the subject fled on foot. Southfield Police K-9 Officer and his K-9 were requested for a track. During the track, the suspect was located a short time later and was taken into custody w/o incident. The subject also had a Home Invasion Warrant out of another jurisdiction. He was arrested and lodged. No bond.
Special Attention: Special Attention: Larceny from Vehicles Larceny of Packages that were ordered and How to prevent this from happening to you! delivered via Common Carrier. How to prevent this from happening to you! -Citizens should never leave anything of value inside their vehicle. Recently several citizens have had packages that were (Especially Handguns, Purses, Wallets, Cash & Cell Phones!) delivered to their residences and apartments stolen prior to them retrieving the packages. - If you have a garage you should park your vehicle in the garage Citizens can prevent this from happening by scheduling and lock the garage. a specific time to have the package delivered and be waiting for the package. - Wheel Locks are a deterrent but don’t leave the wheel lock key in Citizen can also schedule the package to be picked up by the interior of your vehicle, especially the center console or glove themselves at the common carrier facility. box. This is the first place they will look for the wheel lock. -After parking your vehicle turn your wheels all the way to the right or the left. This will make it difficult to get the lug nuts off the front wheels. -If you don’t have a garage, try to park your vehicle as close to your residence as possible. -If you here any loud noises near where your vehicle is parked, especially during the late night or early morning hours, attempt to look outside without alerting anyone and if someone is tampering with your vehicle immediately call 911, (Do Not Approach or Scare the Suspects Away) give Police Dispatchers as much information about the suspect(s) and suspect vehicles as you can. Stay on the phone with Dispatchers until the Police arrive. -Lots of lighting around the area(s) that you park your vehicles is
also very beneficial. Criminals don’t like to work in well lighted areas. They prefer to work in darkness because it’s difficult to see them.
