PLANT CANADA 2019 ACCOMMODATIONS
U of G has special corporate rates that have been extended to the Plant Canada 2019 attendees.
Be sure to book early to secure your preferred hotel and take advantage of reduced rates! The
following are chosen locations for Plant Canada 2019. The hotel block booking prices will not be
secured after June 6, 2019.

Delta Hotels by Marriott Guelph Conference Centre

Standard Room (Two Queens) - $153.00 per night
One Bedroom Suite (One King/Queen) - $168.00 per night
Delta Guelph Hotel and Conference Centre is located at the corner of Stone Road & Gordon
Street (10 min walk from campus) and it is located on University property. Guelph’s only 4
star hotel features 148 contemporary guest rooms & suites with onsite fitness. Guests also
enjoy complimentary access to Movati Athletic. Please note, there is an additional parking fee.

Rooms are single and double queen for $98.99 + tax.

Rates quoted are based upon the information provided at the time of the booking. Subsequent changes
may affect these rates. Rates are quoted per person, per night and are subject to applicable taxes.

Full Service: Beds are made with linen and light blanket (one pillow & case); One Shower Towel and bar of soap provided for each
guest. Daily Servicing provided – fresh towel each day, beds are remade and garbage cans in each bedroom are emptied. After 3
days accommodation the bed linen is changed. Washrooms are serviced – Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; or Tuesdays and
Thursdays.
-East Residence is set up suite style with suites being made up of groups of 6, 8, 10, or 12 guests in single and double rooms within
a self-contained, apartment-style suite.
-Each suite has a lounge, kitchen, and bathroom. Kitchens are equipped with full size stoves, refrigerators and cupboard space,
however, pot/pans, dishware, utensils, etc are not provided.
-Residence bedrooms are equipped with single beds [mattress size Standard Twin - 75"x36"], desks, closets, book shelves and desk
lamps.
-Laundry facilities are available include card operated washers and dryers. Cards for the laundry machines are sold at the east desk.
-All rooms are wired into the University of Guelph high speed internet network
Delegates will be issued a voucher confirming that their keys have been returned upon check-out. A $75.00 charge will apply to all
delegates who do not return their keys. Remote registration is available in another residence building for an hourly labour charge.
*Departure:
Check out time is noon. If this poses a problem for your group, please speak with your Conference Representative.
Noise: You are expected to abide by the rules regarding acceptable noise levels. In general, the following quiet hours are observed:
Sunday to Thursday 11:00pm-8:00am Friday & Saturday 1:00am-8:00am

Airport Transportation Service Information

We have arranged a special conference rate for you with Red Car Airport Shuttle Service. Select
the Red Car Service home page link and enter the booking code: PC2019.
Your online booking will include a $15.00 (CAD) pre-tax discount per direction ($30.00 (CAD)
discount on round trip) from Red Car's current published rates.

Discounts apply to the Shared Ride Shuttle Service for ground transportation to and from Guelph
and area for:
-Toronto International Airport (Pearson)
-Hamilton International Airport (Munroe)

Your online booking will be billed immediately and you will receive an email confirmation
including your check-in location at the airport. You are not booked until you have received a
confirmation form with confirmation numbers.

 **Passengers requiring service to and from Waterloo International Airport, Toronto Island Airport
(Billy Bishop) or Toronto Union Station may book service using Red Car's regular online booking
system at their regular published rates. Union Station is booked through the Inter-City Transfer tab
of the booking engine.
