we are committed to providing you, our guest, with the highest standards of hospitality.
It is our goal to ensure that your stay is an enjoyable and memorable experience. With this
in mind, we have prepared the following information to answer any questions you may
have.

toiletries, towels or pillows.

ADAPTORS                                                                              DIAL 0
Adaptors may be purchased from the vending machine located in the hotel foyer. The vending
machine is coin operated only. For further assistance, please contact our Reception Desk.

AIRPORT/RAIL STATION TRANSFERS
Courtesy transport is available to the Airport and Airport Rail Station 24 hours daily. During peak
times this must be booked at Reception.

There is an airport monitor in the lobby for current departures.

BANKING
Cash machine is located on the ground floor.

BATTERIES
We recycle your batteries free of charge. Please hand in used batteries to Reception.

DRY CLEANING/LAUNDRY                                                                   DIAL 0
This service is available Monday to Saturday with the exception of Bank Holidays. Please place
your dry cleaning and laundry in the bag provided. To ensure that you get your cleaning back
on the same day we would ask that you hand it in to Reception prior to 8.30 a.m. and it will be
returned to you by 5.30 p.m. on the same day.

EMERGENCY / FIRE
In the event of an evacuation (continuous ringing bells) follow the fire evacuation route on the
back of your bedroom door, leaving the hotel by the nearest exit. The fire assembly point is
located at the front of the hotel and is signposted ‘Assembly Point A’.

ESSENTIAL ITEMS
Items such as dental and shaving kits may be purchased from the vending machine located in
the hotel foyer. The vending machine is coin operated only.

EXPRESS CHECKOUT
Provided you have given all necessary check in data and have authorised the charging of your
credit card – express checkout is available by just dropping your key at Reception. Please
contact Reception for further details.

FANS
As and when required, fans are available from the Front Desk, subject to availability.

FAX AND PHOTOCOPYING
This service is available from Reception, charges may apply.

Specific members of the hotel team are qualified to administer medical first-aid. Please contact
the hotel operator if first-aid is required. For immediate assistance please call 100.

This is situated on the ground floor and may be used free of charge whilst resident. Please
sign in at Reception to obtain a key.

                           Last sitting is at 9.45 p.m.

                           The Grill Restaurant offers extensive seasonal à la carte menu.
                           We recommend you book a table in the restaurant on 5507.

GRAB AND GO BREAKFAST
When pre-ordered the night before, Grab and Go Breakfast boxes are available anytime from
the Front Office.

GUESTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
We have some dedicated adapted rooms for you, please ask at Reception.

HEATING
To keep the heating at your preferred level simply turn the temperature control device on the
top of the radiator.

A hospitality tray is provided for your refreshment. Should you require a top up of tea, coffee,
milk or sugar sachets please contact Reception.
INTERNET ACCESS
Complimentary WiFi internet access is available throughout the hotel. A coin operated internet
access station is located in the hotel foyer. Two computers and a printer are set up in the lobby
as a pay as you use basis.

ICE MACHINES
An ice machine is situated on the ground floor.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS AND AMENITIES
Information leaflets on all local attractions are available in the stand adjacent to Reception.

We can hold guests luggage in storage for a maximum of 24 hours free of charge.

We have extensive meeting room facilities. For more information and bookings contact
Reception and ask for our duty manager.

NEWSPAPERS
Local and National newspapers are available daily at Reception.

PARKING
Parking is provided on a first come first served basis and is chargeable at £15 per night, overnight
charges can be applied prior to departure. Please contact Reception for more information.

POSTAL SERVICE
There is a daily postal pick-up from the hotel at 3.30 p.m. This service is not available at the
weekend.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Trains, buses and the Metrolink are available from Manchester Airport Station to connect you
throughout the region and beyond.

SECURITY
Please ensure your bedroom door is firmly locked when leaving your room. You will be asked to
sign for all items charged to your room along with the room number and name assigned to the
room. The building has 24 hour CCTV surveillance.

SMOKING
Smoking is prohibited inside the building. Our smoking area can be found on the terrace adjacent
to the bar. Please help us to comply with this legal requirement.

To contact another room on the ground floor dial 57 then the room number. For all other rooms
dial 5 then the room number. To access an outside line, including international calls dial 9 - you
will not hear any dial tone. For assistance with any operator calls please dial 0, and Reception will
be happy to transfer you. Please note that charges are levied for local, national and international
calls with a minimum connection charge of 35p.

TV LISTINGS
All of our televisions are Freeview, with the exception of the executive rooms that feature full Sky
TV. Live sporting events will be shown in the bar area.

WAKE UP CALL
Wake up calls are available from Reception, upon request. As we are an airport hotel we advise
that you do set your own alarm of your own. There is also a small number of alarm clocks available
at Reception. Please ask at Reception if you would like to make use of a device. Regrettably we
cannot accept responsibility for any missed flights.
