PILATES TEACHER CERTIFICATION High qualified 100 hours comprehensive teaching training course. It provides a balan- ced and complete blend of theory, observation and practical training to help the stu- dent to master at the optimum level the KinetiCode®Pilates extensive program. TRAINING CONTENT The KinetiCode®Pilates Teacher Certification is divided in 3 modules, each module take place in one weekend and it is structured in: 1. Functional Anatomy - 2 hours each day- (see description below) 2. Advanced KinetiCode®Pilates Training - 2 hours class each day 3. Fundamental KinetiCode®Pilates exercises study program - 2 hours each day- (see description below). FUNCTIONAL ANATOMY Students will learn deep understanding of human body anatomy apply to movement science. Main points of study are: • The eight principles of KinetiCode®Pilates methodology. • Basic principles of Dynamic Postural Alignment: pelvic, rib cage placements, breathing techniques, scapular stabilization, head- cervical placement. • Anatomic movement analysis: axes and planes and movement terminology. • Movements relate to space: movement directions and possibilities (flexion, internal–external rotation, etc.) • Myology: study of the muscular system with names, insertions, relationships of the large muscle groups, etc. • Osteology: study of all the bones of human body in relation of two skeleton systems. • Exercise Physiology: study of the effect of physical exercise, type of muscle contractions and them relationships. • Principle of alignment and posture assessment: correct posture, plumb line, common types of faulty posture. • Components of physical training: sliding filament theory, length-tension relationship etc. • Training Skills: elements to design programs, teacher skills, etc. FUNDAMENTAL KINETICODE®PILATES EXERCISES STUDY PROGRAM The students will learn how to perform and teach the 80 Fundamental KinetiCode ®Pilates exercises. The complete program focu- ses on: • Learn an extensive KinetiCode®Pilates exercises program, applying biomechanical principles of core stability, breathing and alignment. • Discover the eight KinetiCode®Pilates principle in the matwork exercises. • Develop the ability to perform the fundamental exercises and demonstrate the technique correctly. • A complete breakdown of each exercise. • Use of correct Pilates terminology. • Exercise goals, muscular initiation and movement sequencing, target muscles, goals and observations. • Modifications for specific body types and postural issues/increase or decrease exercise intensity. • Optimize movement patterns to be able to teach comprehensive and safe KinetiCode®Pilates programs tailored to a group or clients needs. • A variety of programming options to keep clients motivated and be able to teach different levels of classes. • Effective communication, verbal cues and imagery for performance enhancement and client motivation. • Develop teaching skills. • Establish a solid foundation to continue on the Advance lev. or Athletic Performance lev. of Comprehensive KinetiCode®Pilates Teacher Training Education Studies. • All the materials are in English. COURSE STRUCTURE • Instruction & supervised teaching min 36/40 hours (3 weekends of min 6 hours each day) • Observation practice min 15 hours • Self Practice/Physical Review min 30 hours • Practice Teaching min 15 hours • Written Exam - 1 1/2 hour • Practical Exam min 40 min. • free unlimited access to K/C Move studio Pilates mat classes. PREREQUISITES • Previous movement experience as Pilates, sport, fitness, personal trainer, dance, yoga, or similar activity (min. 2 years) • Good physical condition COURSE DATES As student you can decide when to take part of the course, following in order module 1 until 3 for a total of 3 weekends of min 6 hours each day. This structure allowed each student to find easier suitable dates for the course. We offer two payment options of the course: A) - At once, before the start date of the course, € 1.200,- (ex. 21%V.A.T.). B) - In two instalments limit, each: € 600,- (ex. 6% V.A.T.). It requires that the first payment is made before the course starts, the second payment the second week of the course. Which payment option you prefer? A B Cancellation of your registration will incur the fees of €100-, if written notice of cancellation is received prior to the early registration deadline. If the cancellation request is made after this deadline, KinetiCode will auto- matically refund your registration fee, less a 45% cancellation fee for option A or 80% cancellation option B .
