Experience!
1. Once you arrive at the race venue, proceed to the “WAIVERS”
tent located near the entrance to the Festival Area.
2. Fill out and sign your Participant Waiver.
3. Find your BIB number located on the BIB Number wall. Write
it on your Participant Waiver.
4. Proceed to “REGISTRATION” tent with your Waiver and Photo
ID in hand. Choose the lane with the number sequence that
matches your BIB number.
5. Pick up your race packet from one of our awesome
volunteers.
6. Loop the yellow wristband through the timing chip and
attach it to your wrist.
7. Save your souvenir bib number, you won’t need it here.
Headbands only!
8. If you choose, drop your stuff at “BAG CHECK ” tent for safe-
keeping. Bag Check is $5 per bag.
9. Head into the Stadium, look for the “START” signs located
within the Festival.

Follow these Pre-Race Instructions to ensure a speedy registration on race day!
1. Visit the Citizen’s Bank Park Event Page on our website.
2. Scroll down to Important Race Documents.
3. ATHLETE START TIMES will be posted on Wednesday, September 18thth.
4. BIB NUMBERS will be posted on Tuesday, September 24th.
5. Click on the Start Times Link to find your exact start time.
Your name will be in alphabetical order according to your last name.
There you will find your heat start time. Write it down.
Your BIB Number will be used to find your race packet when you arrive on Race Day.
6. Print the Reebok Spartan Race Waiver located under Important Documents.
7. Fill out the waiver completely and bring it with you along with one valid form of ID.
8. EVERY RACER MUST SIGN A WAIVER & SHOW A VALID FORM OF ID!
DO NOT FORGET YOUR PHOTO ID!!!RACE DAY REGISTRATION FLOW
NOTE: Day of Race Registration will be available at a fee of $150.
Saturday: Registration OPENS at 6:30am and CLOSES at 3:00pm.
NOTE: Show up at least 1.5 HOURS prior to your Heat Start Time.
STEP 1: With BIB number, Signed Waiver, and PHOTO IDENTIFICATION in hand,
proceed to the REGISTRATION TENT.
** If you DO NOT have your BIB Number or Waiver, you can locate these at the BIB
NUMBERS/ WAIVERS tents.
STEP 2: Find the registration lane with the number sequence that matches your BIB number.
STEP 3: Participants will hand race waiver to one of our awesome Volunteers in the
Registration tent. Waivers and ID will be checked to verify identity before packet is
received.
STEP 4: In your Race Packet, you will receive:
Souvenir Race Bib – In an effort to keep safety pins off of the playing field, Race
Bibs and Safety Pins WILL NOT be allowed on the field at Citizens Bank Park. Racers
will be required to race with their headbands only. Keep the bib number and pin it
on your wall at home.
Spartan Headband with Bib Number - please wear your bib number headband
during race so we can identify your number at all times.
Loop the yellow wrist strap through the timing chip and attach it to your wrist.
One wristband is for access to the festival. No one will be allowed to enter the
festival without a wristband; keep this on at all times.
STEP 5: Once you have your race packet and headband, proceed to our MARKING STATION
where our Volunteers will write your BIB NUMBER on your ARM.
STEP 6: BAG CHECK. If you’re planning to store gear at our Bag Check Tent, matching numbered
wristbands will be provided for your belongings so that you may check your belongings
safely. We will be tagging your bag with a wristband, which will match another one we
give you to put on. When you finish the race you turn in your wristband and collect your
bag. Bags can be checked for $5 per bag. Bags will only be returned to individuals
whose name and number match up. Each racer checking a bag will receive $5
Spartan Bucks, which is redeemable at the Merchandise tent (not valid for Food or
Beverages).
Saturday: Bag Check tent will open at 6:30am and CLOSES at 7:00pm.START TIMES
SATURDAY– Start Schedule
8:00AM Elite Men Start Times Begin
8:15AM Elite Women Start Times Begin
8:30 & 8:45AM “Confirmed” Start Heats Begin.
9:00AM “OPEN/ Morning” Start Heats Begin.
Beginning at 8:30AM, “OPEN” waves of 200 racers will be called to the start corral. In
an effort to prevent over-crowding or bottlenecks on the course, we will be releasing
15 racers every minute, for 15 minutes at a time. You MUST start during your
designated heat time, so please be in the starting corral on time! We’ll be moving
quickly to get racers on course and eliminate any potential bottlenecks.
ALL RACERS MUST RUN IN THEIR DESIGNATED START TIME.
If you don’t know your start time, you can locate it on our Citizens Bank Park Event page or
at the BIB Number tent located near the entrance to the festival area.
If you have any problems with your registration, please come to the “Race Day Registration”
tent and we’ll help resolve it.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Terrain: 3.0 miles littered with 23 uniquely Spartan and Stadium-specific obstacles, consisting of
90% pavement, cement and stairs. You will be running though the stairwells and hallways of Citizens
Bank Park, home of Phillies. In the Visitors clubhouse you will experience a small patch of carpet and
then the rest is red dirt as you run around the warning track and, finally, the BASES, as you race
towards the finish.
Weather: The weather is looking great for this weekend! Come prepared with a change of clothes!
Aid Stations: 2 water stations on course. 1 aid station at Finish Line that includes bananas. You can
bring a water bottle or camelbak with you on course and take as much water as you'd like at each
station, but if you use our disposable cups, please take only one at each station and refill it.
EVENT TIMING
You will receive a Chip Timer ($40 value) and yellow wrist strap to record your time and
results.
Chip Timer must be fastened around wrist in order to record your finish time properly.
Upon completion of the race at the Finish line:
o Drop Chip Timer and wrist strap into buckets at either side of the Finish Line.
o You will then receive your Spartan Race Medal and Finisher Shirt.
Finisher Times will be posted at the Results Tent near the Finish Line and will be on

All Spartan Race Finishers have the opportunity to order a personalized iTaB for their medal.

name or any other info unique to you & your race.
AWARDS
Saturday:
There will be an awards ceremony at 10:50am and other activities during the course of the
day on Saturday.
The top 3 male and top 3 female finishes in our ELITE wave will be running for a cash prize,
on Saturday and will take home $500 for 1st Place, $200 for 2nd Place, and $100 for 3rd Place
respectively.
The top 3 male and 3 female racers will also receive a Unique Reebok Spartan Race Plaque
designed by one of our most loyal racers. Each of the top 3 male and females will also be
featured on Spartan Race's Wall of Champions page.
FREE RACE PHOTOS
Your FREE Race Photos will be available approximately one week after the event. The link to
the photos will be on our RESULTS page on our website, and will be emailed to each
participant. Stay tuned for more updates!

Registration for the kids race will be at the main Registration tent and closes at
11:30am. Each child is $30 and each finisher will receive a finisher’s medal.
Bring Cash or Check if you are planning to register on-site. Look for the orange Kids Fit
Banners to locate the Starting Line.DIRECTIONS/ HOW TO GET HERE
ALL RACER AND SPECTATOR PARKING WILL BE LOCATED AT CITIZEN’S BANK PARK. Parking
lots "S", "T" and "U" will be open and available to all racers and spectators. Each lot can hold
hundreds, if not thousands, of cars so please remember where you parked. Also, please give yourself
ample time to check in and get to the start line. Please plan to arrive at the parking lots at least 1.5
hours before your scheduled heat.

SPECTATORS
FREE Spectator passes are available online here until 5pm on Friday, September 27th.
All spectators MUST RSVP in advance in order to guarantee entrance.
Once you register, please print the Spectator Waiver, bring a PHOTO ID and your
confirmation email to the Spectator Tent on race day.
All Pre-Registered Spectators must check in at the Spectator Tent. We’ll have your
names available on a Will Call list.
Children 13 and under get in for free.
Anyone entering the festival MUST have a wristband (including racers)
Food (BBQ and healthy options) and drink will be for sale. (Please bring cash)
DJ & Emcee entertainment all day.
Spectator maps will be available at the Spectator Tent for those looking to get close to the
action.

EQUIPMENT & CLOTHING
All participants are encouraged to bring a change of clothes, shoes, and a plastic bag. You are
going to get wet and muddy!
Shoe Donation will be available- we’ll clean and send your filthy running shoes to needy feet
all over the globe. Just tie them together and toss them in the pile by the showers.FOOD & BEVERAGES
Food and beverage will be available for sale so please bring cash and have your ID ready if
you are planning on having a beer.
RESPONSIBLE DRINKING
Spartan Race HQ reminds you to drink responsibly. This race is one of grit and
determination that should not be tarnished by the irresponsible acts of few.

FACILITIES
Porta-Potties and Restrooms will be located throughout the stadium and festival area.
We will not have shower facilities available on-site.
SPARTAN INFORMATION
No coolers or glass bottles allowed into the stadium. Security staff will check for them as
you enter.
You must have ID to check in. Only people ages 13 and older can participate in the adult’s
race. Those under 13 are encouraged to join the Kids Fit race. 13 year olds require a
guardian to run with them on the adult course.
No DOGS/ pets allowed - Only Service Dogs with proper credentials are allowed.
Please DO NOT call venue with questions! Our Citizens Bank Park Event Page is your
best source for up-to-date information. Please check back early and often.
Drink plenty of water before the race and come prepared!
Get a good night’s sleep. This race is no joke…
INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event of inclement weather such as lightning, tornadoes, hurricanes and the like,
Spartan Race reserves the right to eliminate obstacles, select portions of the course, or
cancel the event in order to ensure the safety of racers, volunteers and staff.
Weather in the hills can be unpredictable at times. Please come prepared for chilly morning
temps and possible rainstorms.
POST RACE PARTY
Once you’re done racing on Saturday, join us at our post race party located at McFadden’s
Restaurant and Saloon. Racers who wear their Spartan Finisher medal can grab a free post
race beer here. The party will start at 7pm and continue throughout the night. Show your
medal at the door for entry and specials all night long! McFadden’s is located right near the
3rd base gate into the park.
