School Safety NDHS will follow the Florida Department of Education, the School District of Osceola County and the CDC’s recommended guidelines for schools.
Health & Safety Procedures Students should stay home if they are sick. There will be a designated isolation area in the event that a child or a staff member comes to school and presents COVID-19 symptoms. Parents will be contacted to pick ill students up immediately. ALL CDC Guidelines will be followed for the health and safety of students and teachers. These guidelines can be found at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention . https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/schools-childcare/cloth-face-cover.html All buildings and work spaces will be thoroughly cleaned nightly.
Sanitizing Students will frequently clean their hands throughout the day using the hand sanitizing stations that have been placed around campus. Students will also have access to hand sanitizer in every classroom. Bathrooms, common areas, tables, countertops, doorknobs and desks will be sanitized throughout the day.
Face masks or face shields with masks are required on campus. Parents or legal guardians may “opt out” of the mask requirement for their student provided written notification is provided to the school. Masks are required to be worn at all times on the school bus.
Student Handbook All students will receive an NDHS Student Handbook / Planner that outlines school policies and procedures to include – dress code, cell phone, and attendance. The handbook may be accessed by clicking on the link below. https://newdimensionshs.com/school-policies/
Dress Code NDHS takes pride in the appearance of its students. Good grooming equates to good conduct and academic achievement. ALL students are expected to dress and groom themselves neatly in clothes that are suitable for school activities in accordance with the NDHS Dress Code. Infractions will be referred to an administrator. Please see the dress code policy in the student handbook or on the school’s webpage. https://newdimensionshs.com/school-policies/

Continued school bus misconduct will result in the suspension of the student from riding the bus for the remainder of the year. Bus Routes will be available on the website, during Open House, or by calling the office. 407.870.9949
Breakfast & Lunch Breakfast and lunch are provided to ALL students at NDHS. If the student does NOT want to take advantage of the school lunch services, he/she will be responsible for bringing their own lunch at the beginning of the day. We will not allow family or friends to bring breakfast or lunch for the students during class or lunch time. Exceptions will be made ONLY in case of an emergency. In that case, lunch will be received by the person at the gate and we will have the student pick it up during lunch time. Students will not be allowed to order food for delivery.
