I grew up with a family of six, which made my household quite busy and loud. I am the oldest of four children; My brother Michael is a senior at Ohio University, my sister Katie is a sophomore at the University of Cincinnati, and my brother Christopher is a junior at Newark High School. My dad runs our family s farm with my aunts and my mom is an english teacher at Watkins Memorial High School. 2. Do you have any hobbies I don t have many hobbies but the ones I do have, I am very passionate about. I have always loved learning whether it be when I was in school or from my students now, I love reading historical and realistic fiction, I spend a lot of time helping my dad on the weekends at the farm and spending time with my mom grading papers or going on walks, I also love watching sports on tv, in real life, or at a siblings ball game. 3. Are you a morning person This is a loaded question. My sleep schedules have changed tremendously throughout my 22 years of life. I would like to say I am a morning person but COVID changed me. On school days I have no trouble waking up but on the weekends, that s a whole other ball game. 4. What is your favorite outdoor activity My favorite outdoor activity is going to my farm and helping my dad. I am his right hand man when my brother or my aunts are not around. Either way, my mom and I can be counted on to take him lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I am also a camp counselor in the summertime: that s a really enjoyable outdoor activity. 3
5. Do you play sports I do not play sports. I tried multiple times throughout my school aged years but dramatically failed at all of them. I ultimately decided on playing the trombone and all of the bands that came with the instrument. I was in Marching Band as a section leader and I was in symphonic, jazz, and pep band in high school. My marching band is the only marching band in the state of Ohio to go 43 years straight to state competition. 6. Do you watch sports I love watching sports. I may not look like a fan, but I can be counted on to scream at the tv every now and then. Like I mentioned beforehand, I love the Browns, OSU football, the Cavs, and when they aren t playing OSU, I have always loved watching the Crimson Tide win the SEC. 7. Friday night: staying home or going out I, 100 of the time, stay at home on a friday night unless food is involved. Lately, my mom and I have spent our friday nights watching a movie and eating popcorn. 8. Coffee shop, restaurant, or fast food This is a hard one. I love my coffee just as much as the next guy, but I can t pass up a good meal at Panda Express. I also like restaurants because that means more family time. They all have their perks. 9. Do you prefer wearing casual or formal clothes I have never been one to enjoy formal clothing. If I can get away with it, a shirt and some sweatpants are what you will see me in on most days. 10. Would you rather go to the movies or stay home with Netflix Netflix or Hulu I like having the power to control my movies, you never know what might happen. 11. What s your favorite movie My favorite movie by far is the first J urassic Park. Anyone who knows me could tell you that. 12. What s your favorite TV show My favorite TV shows are Criminal Minds and Grey s Anatomy. They are the only shows I have no problem rewatching. 13. Comedy, horror, drama, romance, or action I am definitely an action movie person. I like watching movies that make me second guess what I think will happen. 14. Do you like watching cartoons Cartoons are fine, they remind me of my childhood. I wouldn t choose to watch them now unless I am watching my baby cousins. 15. Facebook or Twitter Facebook, 100 . I have family around Ohio that I don t see often so I like to keep up with them on the app. 16. Do you know any foreign language Spanish, politely. I can answer questions and read it, but no conversations will happen. 17. What foreign language would you like to learn I would like to learn American Sign Language, I don t know if that counts. 4
18. What is your favorite animal and why I love wolves because they re at the top of their food chain, an apex predator. 19. Do you have any pets I have a cat named Piper. She came from my aunt s farm in the fall and she is almost 7 months. 20. Do you like to read I love to read. I have always loved to read. 21. E book or paper book Paperback book 100 , hardback is even better. 22. Who are your favorite authors I love Louisa May Alcott, J.K. Rowling, and Suzanne Collins. 23. What is your favorite book My favorite book is No Easy Day. It s a book from the perspective of a Navy Seal after 9 11. 24. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up I have always wanted to be a teacher. You can ask my mom. 25. Did you have a role model when growing up My role models were my parents and Dr. Alan Grant. 26. How would you describe yourself I would describe myself as an extroverted introvert. I am very outgoing because I am nervous around most people when I first meet them. I am loud and I am a people pleaser. But, I am also quiet when I want to be and a good listener. 27. What are your favorite toppings on a pizza I really could eat pizza anyway it came, but I really enjoy the barbecue chicken pizza from Rooster s. 5
